...I want to be the world's best Dad.

Of course this is assuming I can find some nice baby fresh nug who is willing to be the mother of my child!

Seriously, what did you want to grow up to be when you were a kiddo? Are you doing it now? Do plan on ever trying to get there?

I wanted to be an astronaut. The closest I ever became was that one time I really hit the uh, special substances really hard in mixed types that produced one weird trip... to the moon! :D

When I was a child.....

First I wanted to be a nurse (didn't every young girl) until I found out the sight of blood made me nauseous. Second choice became first choice and that is Teacher. LOL

Oh, I shouldn't laugh at that.......

I wanted to be....a lottery winner. LOL I still do!! :D

I also wanted to be a singer, a doctor, a lawyer, and a hairdresser. LOL I know, how does a five year old accomplish all that in 7 minutes (FOREVER! when you're five!)? You don't. Which is why I'm studying (although on leave right now) to be a paralegal. :)

I too wanted to be a nurse, but, like Jen, I can't stand the sight of blood. lol Then I wanted to be a singer or a road manager. Still trying to figure out what I want to be. lol Hoping to go back to school in the fall and study either history or law.

Gman, bounty hunter ? yeah, bounty hunter is real cool ! which man never thought of that one ? But well, it's not my primary dream. I am whacked , undoubtedly ! Here's the proof : I wanted to be a comic painter on the Lobo gig and work wiv Simon " the biz " Bisley since his work on ABC Warriors ! No, didn't want to be an astronaut or fireman, or anything. Still is my dream. Probably will still dream about this till' they shovel dirt over me ! And will probably never happen.....
Howwzzar fer weird. tho' i got no doubt someone will come wiv an even weirder dream !

First, I wanted to be a teacher. Then, I wanted to play bass guitar in a rock band. Last, I wanted to be a record producer. I am none of these though. Now my dream would be to own my own record store.

When I was little. Just thinking back to that time. That inocent time when I knew I could be anything I wanted to be.
I had dreams about being a dancer and a singer.
My mother worked in a tiny restaurant when i was little so i would go with her to work sometimes and i would get on the little stage and sing and dance my heart out. Infront of the customers. I wasn't shy at all I loved it.
I always thought i would be an entertainer.

I suppose I have always wanted to be a published author, from about the age of eight or nine. I just loved books and I used to imagine my name and photograph on the dustcover of a book. Fortunately for me, my childhood dream has become a reality!

My dad started writing a couple of years ago and I have to really admire anybody who has the courage to take on the challenge of trying to become published. I didn't realize what a tough thing it was to do! His first book was published in China. I have a copy, one problem, I don't know how to read chinese. ;)

That's cool, GMan. I would love to have my book translated into Chinese. I bet your father's book is beautiful. Has it been translated into any other languages (like English, perhaps)?

All I ever remember wanting to be is a dancer. I REALLY wanted to be a Rockette, but the evil things have a minimum height requirement of 5'4...I'm only 4'10!!!! So, those dreams were dashed. So, instead, I auditioned with the (now defunct) Cleveland Ballet, and was a dancer there. (Yes, on my toes...and yes, it hurts!) From there, I taught ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and hip-hop to girls from 4-19.

So, I got to live out my dream for awhile, even though I can't any longer. *pouts*

Now, I just want to be the best mommie in the whole world...just have to get and stay pregnant.

My first wish was to become a meterologist (sp?). At the age of three, I had drawn a weather chart on the freshly papered wall...boy, my parents didnīt stopped at giving me some high pressure systems on my lower Alps... :D
I kept this dream up until Iīve realized that this job is not only smiling in a cam every evening after the news but requires a lot of mathematics. Goodbye dream... :(

At least I stuck to the drawing...made a lot of them during my teenage days. Drawed nearly everything, bikes, cars, stereo components, whatever, until Iīve started to make tape covers. Still want to make a profession of my desires and create some cover artwork.

Well, I never really had a good idea of what I wanted to be when I was little (maybe a Kunoichi=female Ninja) but when my brother joined the Army I decided that I was also going to join as well and be just as good as him and be the best that I could be for him and this great country, he was my hero I always looked up to, and I always will(rememeber bro, sis loves you so much and you'll always be with me and I with you)We did plan to open our own Martial Arts school when we both got out.
Well I'm not in the military anymore and in a way way I am doing what we wanted to do but it's not how I wanted it to be, I do teach Martial Arts but I don't OWN the school.
I guess things don't always turn out how you want them to be exactly. I know that I can never get there now Gman.

I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher as well when I was growing up. For a little while I wanted to be a Solid Gold Dancer (seriously :D ) but that passed.

My 3 loves: archeology, writing, and teaching. I have been writing since grade 4. Mostly I write academically but I have a few books tucked away that need tweeking and then maybe I'll send them to a publisher. I love history and I relate well to teenagers so I still want to teach highschool. I'm still young yet. I'm having fun telling 50 nurses where to go but that is just until I save up enough money to finish my MA and go to teachers college.

I wouldn't mind doing forensics either but I don't feel like going back and going to med school :)

They said, "You have just got to see this movie." and I said, "Been there, done that, can I have some money?" :D

What did I want to be when I grew up? So many things. I remember wanting to be a pirate, a rock star, an astronomer, a writer, a dj (later on a vj), and a ghostbuster. For real, stop laughing. :D I am none of those things these days. I grudingly grew up a little, went to college and got a degree in psychology. One of these days I'm going back for my Master's and Ph.d with a strange dream of being a shrink for rock stars. Tell me that wouldn't be cool.

I was into detective books in a big way and always wanted to be a detective. I even formed a few detective clubs with other friends. We had some good hideouts.

We had some really cool mysteries to solve too. Like how a tap started running within a sealed off entrance to an old factory and how the following day it had mysteriously turned itself off again! That was a real creepy one!

Is a tap a water faucet? Just trying to broaden myself here...

I haven't had the opportunity to meet you, but I'd advice you of something. Watch what you say!!! If it's a joke, fine, but, sometimes, it doesn't seem that way, ok?
(Yes I noticed the LOL afterwards)

Me too LOL. I grew up reading Enid Blyton about the Super 7, Famous 5, Trixie Belden etc.
I was always looking for a mystery to just jump in my face :)

Hi GMan. Yep a tap is a water faucet. That one was one of our great unsolved mysteries! LOL

Hi Zel. We knew the Super 7 as the Secret 7 and they rocked! That was one of the first series of books I ever got into as a kid. Pity they never made a TV series out of it. (or did they?)
