RuneScape is a massive 3d multiplayer adventure, with monsters to kill, quests to complete, and treasure to win (etc etc). I came across it today and it looks like fun. Anybody here play this??

Oh GAHHHHHHHHHHH my boys are HOOKED on this game! :irked: They're grounded from it right now... they can't seem to play it in MODERATION. :rolleyes: If any of yall see the screen name "Andrewpunk" tell him to get off the computer, cuz his mom said so! :grrr: :lol:

I am sooooooo....addicted too! I play for hours on end. I recently got suckered into getting killed by another member and lost all my armour! :irked: Now I am working on rasing my combat level so I can beat Black Knights.

I hate losing things.....when ya get back all your stuff is gone.....ARGH!!! That's why I put all the excess money and important things in the bank all the time....many times per play session. I do a lot of mining and the last thing ya want to do is get a heap of gold and such and die from one of the scorpions or whatever just as you're leaving to deal with whatever you are mining.......DOUBLE ARGH!!!!

I do keep all my important stuff in the bank. ;) I did not realize that when you go into to Wilderness and fight another player the winner gets all your armour and whatever you got with you. Usually when you die you get to keep 3 things.. I was totally pissed off!! ( in a fun way)I lost steel armour skirt, kite, platebody and scimitar. All given to me from another player at no cost. Fluckin' twerps! Most likely a couple 16 year olds. I should have known!!! :laugh:

I did make it through the Black Knight castle. THAT was hard to do. I kept getting attacked. Almost died but was able to hide out in a secret room until I got some strength back. Now I need to get to a higher level then finish the last free quest... Dragon Slayer. Then I will start up as a paying member.

I never knew I was such a geek! :lol:

I'd stay away from the wilderness......evil place.....it's very dangerous out there and the usual rules don't always apply out there. UNLESS your combat score was like WAY HIGH!!!!!!!!! I'm talking 60 and above if not more.

Let me know if any of you need some hints or help....I've been around and know where to look for things and hints.

Combat level is 32. I am working on getting my defense (level 23)and strength ( level 22)up. I found out today one of my friends is only 11 years old! :lol: He seems a real nice kid. He about freaked when I said I was 35. But he was cool with it. I did meet someone more my age on myspace who plays RS. She is 31. She was shocked someone older like her, plays the game.
