If you look in the center of the pic at the treeline, your can see Mount Saint Helens....Hey! Know how hard it is for my wife to get a picture of it at 75 MPH???

Whenever we take any kind of trip, I like to take pics of some of the scenery, but it's kinda hard to take pics and drive at the same time so I have to rely on the wife for most of them and half the time she says we drive through areas where she can't get a decent shot in. Mt. St. Helens is a prime example. There were a number of spots near Portland that would have been awesome if I had the time to pull over and get it. But I-5 was backed up for 5 miles due to a bus crash that took a lot of our free time away.

Glad you all Liked them. More will surely come in the future.

Nice pics! The mountains are amazing.

If you ever get the chance, stop in Weed California. From there, Mt. Shasta looks as if you can literally reach out and touch it. it's just awesome. If we ever move back to California, I think I'd like to live in the Redding Area as it would be close enough to that mountain (About an hour's drive), yet have the "big city" services. Weed is only about Population 3,000. Too small for my tastes.

Awesome pics Brian !!!!! I'd like to go to California someday just to stick my feet in the Pacific Ocean. Then I can say I've stuck my feet in both the Atlantic & the Pacific Ocean   Seriously, those are beautiful shots of the mountains. :)

The weather held up pretty good during the whole trip. I found out from some co-workers that while I was in California Basking in the sun and 90-97 degree weather, they endured rain and 60's.

When I requested time off to make the trip, I had only requested a week. Saturday to saturday. When I came back to work on Sunday night, They told me I was still on leave...WTF?? Had I known this, I would have taken that extra day in California and visit some old friends of mine I haven't seen in 4 years (Since we left California and moved to Washington State).

Things are back to normal now though.
