Was anyone else peeved when they got rid of the Adam Ant song in that Diet Coke "haircut" commercial? I loved the commercial when it used "Goody Two Shoes." It was so upbeat and perfect for the ad -- "We don't follow fashion..." Now it's some random song. :( I wonder why they replaced it.

I remember that add. I didn't, however know that they'd changed it. That dinda sucks. There are 2 ways of looking at it. 1, that The 80s are finally getting their respect by being heard, even if it is just in advertising, or 2 that they're selling out. I kinda like hearing the songs myself.

I don't know if they show it in the UK, but it's the one where a young woman with long, dark hair goes into a barber shop for a haircut. She requests a short, guy-style cut that ends up looking great on her. I guess the point of the commercial is that she's supposed to be a really hip trendsetter because she's drinking Diet Coke (LOL). Anyway, the Adam Ant song was fun to hear.
