This is off of a Netwerk tape from 1991. It sounds like Jimmy Summerville, but I'm not sure. Should be pretty easy, but I can't figure it out:dammit:

I have heard the chorus before, but I am having trouble placing it. Maybe something by Hubert Kah??? Whatever song it is, it sounds like a version a remix service like Hot Traxx or Razormaid would have put out.

It sounds at first like Jimmy Summerville doing "love to love you" by Donna Summer. Then it samples Tears for Fears, but who is the English guy rapping?

I'm not exactly sure, but my wildest guess would be "Love To Love You Baby" by Bali. I wasn't able to find a sample online of the song, but the DJ Rhythm Database (http://www.djrhythms.com/db/lb/circ/yrt26.htm) has the track listed as from 1989 on Circuit Records UK; other sources state the track is mixed by Paul Oakenfold. They also have it clocked at 104 BPM, which is close to what I timed it at. And it sounds familiar to Oakenfold's work on Happy Mondays' "Loose Fit". Hope this helps.
