Tom Jones announces tour:

Sir Tom Jones has announced details of a UK tour in October.

Sir Tom, who has teamed up with one the UK's most successful dance acts, Chicane, for a new single

called Stoned In Love due on April 24, will kick-off the tour at the Brighton Centre on October 10.

The rest of the tour is:

October 13 - Manchester Evening News Arena

October 14 - Birmingham NEC Arena

October 16 - Newcastle Telewest Arena

October 18 - Sheffield Hallam FM Arena

October 20 - Cardiff International Arena

October 27 - Nottingham Arena

October 31 - Glasgow Clyde Auditorium

Stoned In Love is the first new material from Jones since the release in November 2002 of his Mr Jones album which spawned the hit Tom Jones International.

The 65-year-old singer previously collaborated with German dance DJ-producer Mousse T on his 2000 hit

Sexbomb.

Chicane, aka DJ-producer Nick Bracegirdle, has previously scored hits on collaborations with Bryan Adams on Don't Give Up, D:Ream's Peter Cunnah on Love On The Run and Clannad's Maire Brennan on Saltwater.

Chicane play Manchester Academy 2 on April 22 and London's Islington Academy on April 24.
