WEBSITE AIMS TO "BRING BACK GARTH"
Garth Brooks says he's not going back on the road until his youngest daughter has graduated from high school--but that's not stopping a group of Garth's devoted fans, who have started a website called BringBackGarth.com. According to allaboutcountry.com, the website aims to get one million signatures on its petition to send a message to Garth of just how much he's missed.
"While we respect and admire Garth's decision to stay home with his family," says BringBackGarth.com founder, Cyndi Morrison, "It's our hope that he would maybe come back for perhaps a couple shows a year. That way, he can still be with his children and us." From reading the messages that people are posting on the website, it seems she is not the only one that feels this way.
"One million names, that's our goal," says Morrison. "We already have people signing in from all over the world. With over 100 million records sold and fans worldwide, a million names should be no problem, it's just a matter of letting them all know what we're doing."
The website petition has already gathered more than 1600 signatures since it began in November 2005, and is growing daily. To sign the petition, visit BringBackGarth.com.
