Here are some chocolate quotes for all the chocolate lovers out there! ;)

Man cannot live on chocolate alone; but woman sure can.

Among life's mysteries is how a two pound box of chocolate
can make a woman gain five pounds.

Forget love -- I'd rather fall in chocolate!!!

Chocolate is nature’s way of making up for Mondays.

Stress wouldn’t be so hard to take if it were chocolate covered.

Eat a square meal a day - a box of chocolate.

Other things are just food. But chocolate's chocolate.

Chocolate causes certain endocrine glands to secrete hormones that affect your feelings and behavior by making you happy. Therefore, it counteracts depression, in turn reducing the stress of depression. Your stress-free life helps you maintain a youthful disposition, both physically and mentally. So, eat lots of chocolate.

Strength is the capacity to break a chocolate bar into four pieces with your bare hands - and then eat just one of the pieces.

A little too much chocolate is just about right.

In the cookies of life, friends are the chocolate chips.

There’s more to life than chocolate, but not right now.

Chocolate is cheaper than therapy and you don't need an appointment.

Nuts just take up space where chocolate ought to be.

It's not that chocolates are a substitute for love. Love is a substitute for chocolate. Chocolate is, let's face it, far more reliable than a man.

Nine out of ten people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies.

This guy found a bottle on the ocean, and he opened it and out popped a genie, and he gave him three wishes. The guy wished for a million dollars, and poof! there was a million dollars. Then he wished for a convertible, and poof! there was a convertible. And then, he wished he could be irresistible to all women... poof! he turned into a box of chocolates.

Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you'll get one thing done.

Simply put... everyone has a price, mine is chocolate!

The three best pleasures in life are scratching, sneezing and eating chocolate.

I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

If not for chocolate, there would be no need for control top pantyhose. An entire garment industry would be devastated.

I don't understand why so many "so called" chocolate lovers complain about the calories in chocolate, when all true chocoholics know that it is a vegetable. It comes from the cocoa bean, beans are veggies, 'nuff said.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.

There's nothing like a plain old bar of Herhey's chocolate. It's heavenly

I'm a very picky chocolate eater. I only like milk chocolate as in Hershey's. I don't like bittersweet and all the rest of them. I like hot fudge on ice cream (that's probably something different though). I try not to eat it that often, maybe once every two weeks.

Patty~ So when you bake chocolate chip cookies, do you only buy the Hersheys baking chips or do you still use semi sweet ones?

Actually, I don't bake.

Hubby is a diabetic and really, I never mastered the art of baking anyways.
But yeah, come to think of it, before my hubby was diagnosed, I did use the Nestle brand pre-made squares. But even then, I didn't make that often.

I guess I liked semi-sweet too (I'd forgotten about chocolate chips)

Oh you mean the Raspberry Creme filled ones? OMG!! They are SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! It's too bad they are limited edition and they only sell them around Christmas. I didn't know about them till Jazzy mentioned them!!! Then I got hooked on those and kept telling Roem about how awesome those chips are, so part of the cookies he got for Christmas were raspberry chocolate chip cookies. :bouncy: Those chips are good to eat all on their own too!

You mean the white chocolate isn't really chcolate at all?? If that's the case, it's a good thing I avoid it! (But I've never even tried white chocolate.)

Harket may be right about white chocolate!

Because white chocolate has no cocoa solids from the chocolate liquor, the FDA doesn't classify it as chocolate. However, the organization is working with chocolate manufacturers to establish a standard definition for white chocolate. Until a standard is published, check labels and beware of "white chocolate" that contains vegetable fat instead of cocoa butter. The quality and taste are inferior.

(Thanks for the info, Miss INXS.)

I kinda like the white chocolate. I remember when they used to sell Nestle' white chocolate bars in the store checkouts here in the US back in the 80s. I used to get one every now and then just for variety.

Anybody ever have chocolate fondue? It looks so good on television.

Ohh I have, Patty! Nothing beats dipping strawberries and banana chunks in hot dark chocolate! :biglick:

Now that I think of it, a chocolate fondue would make a great Valentines dessert -or any time of the year - when having friends over for dinner. That and a cup of freshly brewed hazelnut, amaretto or raspberry chocolate flavored coffee or latte on the side. :biglick:
