All I can say is, I feel bad for those of you in the Northeast. I hear you all are getting blasted with blizzard like conditions!

I took this picture about 10 minutes ago...and no, that's not white sand...that's SNOW & I'm pissed! I hate snow :p

Beautiful pic, PG! I hate snow. So far we have about a foot and a half. Doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. :hissy:

It's just starting to pick up here. We have about 7 inches on the ground now, and it's starting to come down harder and the wind is WHIPPIN! They're saying anywhere from 12-18" by the time it's over.

Thank the Goddess I didn't bring home my Mustang this weekend, and thank Her that I bought that Troy-Built snow blower! (insert Tim Allen grunts here! )

It's a beautiful snow fall:thumb: No wind at all. Reminds me of the maze scene in The Shinning:mwaha:

I haven't really been outside yet today, but will probably go out shortly. It looks to be about a foot of snow here and maybe a little more than that.

I thought it was great! My first snow in about seven or eight years. Had a blast out walking my dog in it. Now I have to get my butt back to the desert, cause that was enough to last me another seven years or so. :D

Jeannie and I were talking to 80's fanatic (Jodi) on the phone and she could barely see out her window. She is in Taunton, Ma. I wish all you east coast Xchangers the best of luck.

It was pretty bad, but I've seen and been out in a lot worse  I knew it was coming after all the 50+ degree days we've been spoiled with... I told everyone winter was gonna hit with a vengeance come February :p

That same storm came through the Memphis area first and it dumped 4-6 inches that melted completely within 2 days. We thought it was a frigging blizzard! :yikes: Not enough snow to build a respectable snowman and the stores were filled with poeple buying bread & milk like it was the end of the world. :dizzy:

Why do people buy bread & milk during bad weather anyway? Iis it going to get so cold that you could have a milk sandwich? I've never figured that out. Anyway, I'm glad the east coasters fared ok through this storm, and I thought you'd be amused at how us lightweights down here got "hammered" too.

All we got was a few inches of snow. I love the snow but I am also glad it missed us.

I wish it would stop snowing so i could stop eating milk and bread.

It just stopped here, The guy that plows my driveway showed up at 5:30 am, but with the strong winds it almost filled up as soon as he plowed it. I did manage to get the truck out and had to take the long way (snow route) to work, as some of the turn offs to roads aren't plowed or the snow blew back in.

Wait till some real milk and bread weather comes along............................................. ..................................:D

It was a record in NYC...26.9 inches.

Up by me got about 10. First time in a long time that the city got hit worse than we did! Usually I see what the city is getting and tack on another few inches.

We got a foot of snow, which totally surprised me. With 50 mph winds and quarter mile visibility for several hours, I figured we'd get more. My city was in the high snow total map on several different news' stations. We were told to expect 16 - 22 inches of snow. I'm sure glad we didn't get it :D

We got about 23 inches total. Compared to the 4 feet we got last year this was cake.
