for me there's only one : Fairytale of New York - The Pogues./Kirsty McColl
What year was "Please Come Home For Christmas" by The Eagles? If it wasn't in the 80s then my vote goes to "Do They Know Its Christmas" - Band Aid.

This would have been an awesom pole, but I think it's cool doing it this way. This way, it gives everyone a chance to list their own personal favs. As for me, Mine are Do They Know It's Christmas, a, Christmas is the time to say I love you, and Some day at Christmas. Bandaid, Billy Squire, and Stevey Wonder respectively.
