Has anyone heard the new Madonna album? I have it since yesterday and although I am not a fan at all, I must admid this album is very good. I like the new single Hung Up, with the ABBA sample (Gimme Gimme).
The rumour goes that the second single will be Sorry. In that song she says a line in dutch... She is supposed to say : I'm sorry, but she says Ik Ben Droevig, wich means I am sad. Someone didn't do his homework :D

I'm not a big fan of Madonna, but she will never stop to impress me. She keeps bringing something new every time and it's good stuff... most of the time :)

Although "Hung up" doesn't sound like the kind of music I listen to, I'm attracted to it. She's has both feet on the ground and really knows what she's doing.

Having a big weakness for redheads also attracts me to her album cover ;) I don't think it's her though.

I'm a fan & I love the new album. This album is so full of killer hooks from start to end. Seriously there's not one song that I hate in this album, which is crazy cuz with her past albums, there were songs that I just don't listen to. Whether u're showering or driving or in a club, the songs on this album works. Nothing groundbreaking in the album tho, just Madonna staying very current, well, at least with the club scene. Loads of Krafwerk-inspired melodies. Sorry is a fantastic pop dance song, so bloody catchy u'll be singing it by the 3rd chorus! My ultimate fav from this record is LIKE IT OR NOT. There's something about this new Madonna record, it's so buoyant that it's great for the holiday season. And I think if u're a lil down, it'll lift ur spirits up.:yesnod:

I bought Confessions on a Dance Floor Last Week, and it is certainly her best work since the much-lauded Ray of Light way back in 1998. The single "Hung Up" is Madonna back at the top of her dance hall roots from the 80s! My favorite track on the CD is "Push"... awesome lyrics and musical direction. It's great to see her back to form again... :)

I'm really diggin' Hung Up. The album isn't bad, not my favorite but I just can't give up her old stuff. It's definitely worth a listen, tho!
