If you were in the middle of a playoff run would you suspend Terell Owens?. Sure he's a loudmouth, but from what I can tell he gives his all, even returning last year for the Superbowl when pretty much everyone said he would not after the injury. He has also been noted for training harder than everyone else on his team (san Francisco),as well as watching game film . I know one of the things he shot his mouth off about was not being recognized during the game for his 100th career touch down. Yeah it does sound selfish but he did get his 100th, , which in the history of the NFL only 5 players have ever done that, and I remember when Steve Largent did it, everyone made a big deal, even breaking away from the regular televised game to show it. I know a couple years ago Tampa Bay Suspended Keyshawn Johnson, but Tampa BAy was out of the playoff hunt and Keyshawn is not Terrell. If I was a fan of the Eagles or a fantasy owner I'd be upset. This is pro football, your job is to provide the best team out there to win, and Owens in your lineup is your best option. Unlike Moss who often quits, Owens does everything on the field you would ask a wide receiver, it's just his mouth. I would have kept him in the line up and get rid of him the end of the season

7. Don Hutson 99
8. x-Randy Moss 93
9. Don Maynard 88
10. Andre Reed 87

I'm not sure what a Terell Owens is, so I am not sure if I should suspend him or not. Would I be suspending him from the ceiling like a chandelier? :p

Not a sports person here, but I do know that sports figures are all getting too big for their britches. All the time these people get way too much money, status and fame and use it as an excuse to act stupid. If I were able to secure some of the money these people are making, I would do everything I could to mind my manners and hang on to it.

After what he pulled this time... Hell yes. He attacked Hugh Douglas and then threatened Donovan McNabb or any other team mates who "wanted to talk behind his back".

He's a jerk and nobody is worth all this grief.

I absolutely agree with this decison! No player no matter how good he is not above NFL rules. He said something that was detromental to his team and the NFL. I don't care at what point in the season it is. MAYBE this time he will learn to keep his big mouth shut. Don't get me wrong I think he is a very talented player but his comments and action are getting on everyone's last dying nerve!:argh:

I've played with "ME" players before, and have yet to find one who is worth the damage he causes to the team. No matter the sport, guys like T.O. are poison and rarely change. Give me a guy who's less talented, but a hard worker and I'll take my chances with him. The way I see it, Philadelphia will continue to pay him for this season, then cut him loose so he can join the Raiders like all of the other malcontents, has-beens, and loonies. One thing I'm sure of; his big money days are over unless he finds it in himself to change.
