In 1998, Rick considered a return to the limelight possibly re-uniting himself with Pete Waterman but this was not to be. Instead he has decided to put together another album featuring more self-penned material. Rick believes it's his best material to date and after hearing snippets of the tracks, I tend to agree.

I really liked Rick Astley's music. I had forgotten about the song "Hopelessly". I'll have to find that one.

I always found it funny that Kylie Minogue was accused of ripping off one of "his" songs, because if you slow down "I Should Be So Lucky", it sounds EXACTLY like him...try it if you have a tape recorder, it really is incredible.

Now, Kylie's coming back on the pop scene in North America and Rick, well...he's alive anyway!

The last I heard is that he was supposed to release a Greatest Hits collection.I have his debut w/some of the best material from him.Together Forever,It would take a strong man & many more.It'll be nice to hear from him again,but I think that he'd be more AC like his last album,which I did enjoy Hopelessly & Cry for help.
