Anyone know what ever happened to this guy? He was the drummer for John Cougar Mellencamp until the early/mid 90's. According to what I've heard/read, he & John never got along well. I saw him on TV playing for John Foggerty a few years ago (at least it looked like him.
I remember him because I played drums at the time...and he was one of the first bald drummers I had ever seen. :D LOL Seriously, i always enjoyed his playing and just wondered if he's still around.

Don't you love it when people answer their own questions? :D I did some searching on the net (duh) and found that he has been busy as heck! Not only has he worked with Foggerty (I was right!) but Melissa Etheridge, Lynyrd Skynyrd (studio) and even Smashing Pumpkins (tour). Wow! Now wonder they call him the "hardest working drummer in rock music" !
Anyone else got something on him?

Not an uncommon occurence! :D LOL
Anyway, about Arnoff, he was probably one of the 80's most influential pop/rock drummers. All those cool rhythms in JCM's early stuff like "Jack & Diane", that was Kenny. :D

Well Buc, I don't have anything current on him, but I wanted to share that I got to meet him in the late 80's/early 90's. I was going to the local junior college at the time and taking a History of Rock class. Yes, it was a real class and it rocked. Anywhoo, our teacher managed to get Kenny Arnoff to come talk to our class. He was so cool, just laid back and talking about the grooviness of playing music. It was the neatest thing. He even stayed after and autographed stuff for the handful of us who actually knew who the heck he was. It was an unfortunate class of idiots, but a few of us were lucky to get to hang with him for awhile.
