I have this song in my head, and I think that the title might be, To the other side, but I can't remember.

I think this is how the lyrics go

Bluebird, steppin' out
into the night

This song was popular in the early 80's, it was quite a fast song and you can really distinctly hear a pianoin the background. Does anybody know what song I am talking about? Any help would be appreciated

That's Joe Jackson. The song is called "Steppin' Out" and I think it's from the Night And Day album.

Definitely on the "Night and day" album along with the great single "Breaking us in two". It is also on his greatest hits CD.
