I recently returned from a trip to Papua New Guinea, where I met a man who loves country music. He's asked me to help find him a pen pal in the U.S. to write to him about Country Music (good old fashioned snail mail, as internet connection is still painfully slow there). He is in his mid-30s, is a lawyer, and lives in Kimbe Bay, Papua New Guinea. His wife is a teacher and they have three kids, and they seem like great people (very warm, funny, interesting). He says that his favorite songs are from the 70s and 80s.
