From memory it was around 10,000 feet. Only parachuting that time. The scariest part was climbing out onto the wing of the plane.

I'm not actually a great fan of heights and it didn't help that they always had the biggest passenger sit next to the main door way of the craft when flying. And that was always me. So I would be sitting right by the door way sticking my head out and looking down. Freaky stuff!

I used to think I'd be able to do fun things like that until my husband took me up the CN Tower in Canada when I was pregnant with our daughter. There was a plexiglass floor - totally safe but when he started jumping on it my legs got the nasty shakes and I haven't done high places since then LOL

That would freak me out too Zel! It's OK until you look down. LOL. At least with parachuting you don't actually have to look down until your chute is open! And then you know it's safe so you can enjoy the view.

I must say, you are a different man without the stache!

lol, where'd you go sky diving? I see that you're from New Zealand.. i have been there, PLUS, i've been sky diving in NZ. I went skydiving in the Taupo region, i think it was called. It was a real adrenalin rush, I didn't actually jump by myself, I was attached to a professional sky diver.. i don't think i could bring myself to do it alone.. it's really intense.

Hey 'My Obsession', I went parachuting on the Kaipara Flats north of Auckland. It is indeed an adrenelin rush! But unfortunately it was an expensive hobby, so I couldn't afford to keep doing it. :cry:
