Hi:
Well, sorry this is tune is not from the 80's, it's older. But, since it's very famous, and all of you know many tunes, well I thouth you could help me.

I think it's from the 70's, it's instrumental. It begins with an airplane taking off, or passing by, after the sound of the plane a chorus sings "Ah,ah,ah", and then the music starts, and it's a little fast. It's not the Beatles or ELO, or
Telstar.

Thank you.

Sounds a little bit like Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells

Thank you very much, Mikey, but that's not it. Although Tubular Bells is a very good tune.

Thanks.

I think I know the song you're looking for

Electric Light Orchestra - Fire On High

This song was used as the theme song for ABC's Wide World Of Sports in the early 70's

Edited: just noticed that you stated it's not ELO. Regarding "Fire On High" there's a long intro into the song that is cut off for the radio version.

The only other song I can think of is Breath by Pink Flotd (Dark Side Of The Moon) but it contains lyrics but I think there is a simlilar track on the Moore-album. Anyway that songs stars with an aeroplane or helicopter sound and goes into ahahah

Did you hear this song in the 70's? It would be easier to find if we knew the year.
