How long in advance do concert promoters know who will be on a bill?. (is bill even the correct word or is that something Ruben Kincaid would say about the Partridge Family?)
After the success of the Stones concert, 88,000 only 39 arrests and no deaths, every year we will eb having a big concert.
I've been told (by someone I trust) that she was speaking directly to the promoter, which I know for a fact she knows him.
Supposedly next Summer's concert will be AC/DC, Areosmith, Meatloaf and several other bands which are not carved in stone (Cheap Trick, Rush, April Wine, ZZ Top). Currently the discussions are with AC/DC and Aerosmith arguing who will be the headliner.
Is there any way this is true, would a promoter be know a year in advance? or is it just the usual rumours?
