View Full Version : Pagan then and now - caution, may be frightening to younger Xchangers

Me at about 5 years old. Almost like the interviews with neighbors when a murderer is apprehended, "He used to be a quiet boy...."

Me in 1994. Still had the Bon Jovi 'do, and a lame attempt at a goatee....

Me about 10 minutes ago. You'll notice the pic of me with Steve Harris behind my wife's Janis Joplin figure...and REAL 80's fans will notice the ALF figure next to Janis!

Amy Livin 2-04-01, 10:29 PM Ok, first off, you were an adorable kid!
Second, that hair is way too puffy to be a Bon Jovi hair style (yes, even for Bon Jovi). And yes, I did notice the Alf statue!!! Rock On!!!!

outofplacechild 2-05-01, 01:50 PM Pagan...if it counts for anything, I'm not frightened by the way you looked back in 1994. On the contrary, I think you were quite handsome. I definitely want to have that big 80s-metal hair you have going on there. It seriously rocks!
Sincerely,
John "outofplacechild" Kilduff

Sal Collaziano 2-05-01, 03:44 PM Holy squirrel nuts! You look like a young Howard Stern in that last picture! hehe The one from '94 looks cool too. How old were you there? Yes, I see Alf! But I don't know who Steve Harris is? WHICH ONE IS YOU in that picture in the background?! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

Howard Stern? HOWARD STERN???? HOWARD F@#KING STERN???? Geez Sal, I thought we were buds! The ugliest (or one of the ugliest) person on the planet, and you say I resemble him! Where's that cyanide capsule....I'm gonna end it now! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//00buaaah.gif Geez...please don't mean that! I mean...my nose is big and all...I'm not conceited or anything, but Christ on a pony, I'm better looking than Howard Stern! (don't worry bud, I'm not that upset...just a little shellshocked!)
I was 33 in that pic from '94. Geez...I'm SOOOO old!
I like what Not Man says better! You should see me play live Not...my wife says I act alot like him too! Got the foot on the monitor thing going! Sheesh...maybe I should put my old Maiden tribute band "Powerslave" back together!
Actually, in case you REALLY are wondering who's me in the pic Sal, I'm on the right....God himself is on the left.
In Mourning,
Pagan
PS - Thanx for the compliment John!
PSS - Amy, are you kiddin'? Jon's hair was WAY puffier than mine in his heyday!!! By the way, did I ever tell you my wife used to date Alec from Bon Jovi before we met?

Sal Collaziano 2-07-01, 12:11 PM Hehe! Hey, in that picture you look like Joey Belladonna! Maybe I'm just crazy.. But anyways, hey - how about just a good-looking version of Howard Stern. Hell, in his movie they used so much make-up on him that he actually looked normal. That's the only Howard I know so I really compared you to the good-looking version. Does that spell any relief? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

The funny thing that alot of people don't realize is that when Howard first came to NY at WNBC, he didn't have the long hair and cool outfits like he did in the movie. He definitely took some artistic liberties! He still looked like the way he did in college. I had an old pic of him, IMUS, Wolfman Jack & Soupy Sales from his first year there, and he looked positively GOOFY. He's lost it lately, everything with him reverts right to sex. Opie & Anthony are wasting him here in NY. They're so much funnier....
Anyway, I'll actually let you know who I look like when I get back from Disneyworld. I usually get mistaken for someone whenever I'm down there, so we'll see who it is this year!
Ty, you're making me blush! Thanx....
Peace,
Pagan

Sal Collaziano 2-08-01, 02:23 PM Yeah thanks, Dawn! hehe http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif I was thinking that when I wrote it. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif And Pagan, yes tell us who you get mistaken for. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif That should be intersting.. And I do hear a lot about Opie and Anthony.. I wonder how funny that show really is...

reapthewildwind 2-11-01, 08:00 AM I dunno, I think you look like a cross between Ruday Sarzo and Warren from ratt...this is very cool, your pic reminds me of when I've listened to THE RACK on KNAC.com when she plays the classics (the late 70s early 80s rock), Steve Harris and Iron Maiden deserved a little more audience with BRAVE NEW WORLD, I thought it was a great venture back to the days of PIECE OF MIND. Rock on http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//PSYCHEDELIC.gif
Reap, I don't know about where you are, but Maiden sold out Madison Square Garden here in 40 minutes. The audience is still there!
Rudy Sarzo? I can dig that...he's an influence! I don't see the Warren from RATT though. When we opened for them I got to meet him, and he's alot thinner...
Sal Collaziano 2-14-01, 06:43 PM A lot thinner than YOU? I hope not! You look pretty thin as it is...

He's ALOT thinner Sal. I have some muscle to me, he's a beanpole!
Sal Collaziano 2-16-01, 06:51 PM Oh, okay. Terrible! That's so unhealthy looking..

http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//redface.gif Pagan,
I was looking at everyones pictures, including yours, and had a dream about you that night. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif In it, I said to you that I recognized you from this site, and wasnt 80's exchange a cool site? You just looked at me like
http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//rolleyes.gif "Yeah, Yeah." hee hee. Oops, maybe this should be in the dream analysis section.
Well D2, you never know....it could happen. You're from the area, so you may end up at one of our shows. We can do a deja vu thing! Remember, if you ever do come to one of our shows, you have to say "Hey, I recognize you from the 80s xchange website!" I promise I won't say "Yeah, yeah"...okay?
Blaziegirl 3-09-01, 07:07 AM No fair I didn't get to see your pic's Pagan http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif I will say this though, from the video I just seen of you Howard Stern was not on that stage http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

I know...I gotta find a new place where I can get a photo page that won't crap out on me! Sal, Roem...any ideas? Heeeellllppp!!!!
8teesBuff 4-16-01, 02:40 AM I learned a lil trick when geocities pics won't show up. Right click on the pic, and go to properties, copy the URL address and paste it in the window, and click go... the pic will show up and usually when you come back it will be in the message post again.
Hope this helps!!
OK, the pix aren't showing up right now, but I remember seeing them somewhere. Pagan, I think we have established what I think of you!! Yummmmy!!!!! Hubba Hubba!! LOL
And, I have had a chance to see everybody, get my posts up, and now I will remember what everyone looks like!! Now we just need to see those who don't have pix up!!

Amy Livin 6-16-01, 09:11 PM Actualy the funny thing with geocities, is if you go rename your pic and put .x instead of .jpg, it'll work.
I didn't see anything either But I did see the Disney pics. VERY nice
