Is is fast or slow or what? Does it have lots of guitar or more keyboards? How is the voice of the singer (soothing, raspy, loud, soft)? I can't pull it from the lyrics. Maybe Zel can. I'll check back here later! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Doc 2-17-00, 07:10 PM Its a guy singer. It was a pop rock song. Kinda in the same vain as Tommy Tutone's (Jenny Jenny 867-5309) or Nic Lowe's (Hot Child In The City). Mostly guitar in the song. I dont remember much keyboards being in it if any at all. It was a medium upbeat song. Voice was kinda like Tommy Tutones. Hope this helps! Doc 2-18-00, 08:23 PM Someone emailed me the answer. Its Tony Carey and the song is called "I Wont Be Home Tonite". They also told me that he was the leader of the band Planet P which had a hit called "Why Me". Thanks! nonomus 2-20-00, 08:08 AM Yes, Tony was also the original keyboardist in Richie Blackmore's Rainbow, back in the mid seventies, before Don Airey took over. Tony has had a pretty big solo career, and ended up playing a sort of 80s' style pop/rock for many years, with a truckload of solo albums as well.
