Alright, I'm trying anew look for the summer. Since I have very thik hair it's unbareble in this heat and I want to be orriginal and not do the traditional ponytail. So I started making tiny braids infront and got fed up. I think it looks alright but what do you guys think?

I like big hair Amy, so to be honest.....eeehhhhhhh.....nope. Although you do carry it well, just not a personal favorite when it comes to hairstyles. (I still love ya though!)

i'm trying to check out that cute guy in the background..
lol.
i know, he's yours

i agree with Pagan. It's not bad at all, but you'd look best showing your hair. Let it frame you face,,like a bob or something?
thats what I had when I had white hair.
oh, so long ago..lol
it can't be that much hotter for you.
(and now i'm reminded of how much time i've wasted on these sites,,but hey, is anything really wasted?)

Actualy my hair is still too short to be puffy. Probably by winter time it'll be long enough. At this length, if I let it dry natural, my hair gets wavy but not from the roots, mostly at the tips so my head looks like a huge triangle. Once it gets long enough I'll get it in lairs and wear it puffy like I used too. Man I miss it. Until then I have to deal with this

I kinda thought some of your earlier photos were great. And I'll agree with the framing your face idea someone else mentioned. Maybe just shaving enough up the back of your hair so no one notices, you stay cool and can spike it all up and look like a punk for special occassions.

So it's a good thing that I didn't post my other idea about creating a braid going from your ears back (ok, might need longer hair) and intermingling the two braids at their ends behind your back. So if anyone asks you what kind of hairstyle it is, you just tell them "They're reins baby!" and add your best horse whinny impression.

I love the little braids, but that is a personal preference. You still look great to me either way!

Hehehe, I would need to let my hair grow a bit longer still. And by then hopefully it wont be too hot to wear it puffy.

Thanks for the comments guys!

The braids are cute. You would also look good with one of those flips. Like the lead singer on Josie and the Pussycats.

Have you ever thought of one of those bed head cuts? I bet that would look good on you until your hair grows out like you want. I think if YOU like the braids, then you should wear them!!

It's one of those 'blow dry and go' haircuts that is a little sloppy, but looks sexy on some women. It's supposed to look like you just rolled outta bed..... I think you could pull that hairdo off nicely.

I doubt I can pull that off and look good. My hair is big time wavy so as soon as it's just a bit messy it looks horrible. Specialy at the length it is now, the tips puff up and my head looks like a triangle

You said be honest *lol* No braids, go natural & let it grow, my hair is down to my butt & it's a pain in the A** to deal with in the summer months but I wouldn't have it any other way... But your a cute girl with any look you decide on
