Hi all! I heard this tune the other day and it brought back memories of their other awesome songs like "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," And there are a few others I can't recall the names of this morning, but what were favorites by this band?

Everybody wants to rule the world makes me think of a great summer day when my friends and I piled into her dad's pontiac parisanne (old buckwheat) and drove to Barrie for shopping <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">

I have to agree with Rain on this one. I'm a bigger fan of The Hurting than Songs From The Big Chair. I guess I can relate to the darker synth sound from it than the slightly happier Songs... I do love "Shout," "Head Over Heels" and "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" but I like the continuity of The Hurting most. Songs like "Watch Me Bleed," "Pale Shelter" and "Memories Fade" just do something to me. Color me morbid... that's black I think.

The only song off that album that I remember, at least when it came out, was Change. I was in the 3rd or 4th grade and used to listen to it on the bus all the time. It's a good song, I only know the other ones (before Songs From the Big Chair) because they are on the greatest hits album. I guess I need to check out that other cd.

Sowing the Seeds just brings back memories of great times.
Sat out the back of a Pub with a pint in your hand and the sun beaming down on you.
I think that's what puts the biggest smile on my face when i hear songs from the 80's. Remebering what you were doing when great music was booming out of some speakers whereever you were or what ever you were doing.
This look to the future business isn't half as much fun as looking back.
