Megadeth is coming to my neck of the woods on Sunday so I decided to buy RISK. Let me say this; HOLYSH!T it SUCKS!! I have all thier previous albums and enjoy them all, some more than others, but this one is really sad. I thought Metallica committed suicide with load, but load is 10x a better album than RISK. With the exception of four or five DECENT songs One would really be risking spending money on this album. The show will still be a great one I'm sure. Thank GOd for older material.

Yeah I agree with you necronine. I wasn't impressed with this new sound either. I saw Megadeth a few years back and they just kicked a$$. Let us know how they sound now OK? Hopefully they stil can play metal. :D

I'd hate to see Megadeth fall into the same crap hole as Metallica did. uhh.. There goes another band..

Yeah it's sad that both of these bands are taking a new direction to their music.:(

Even Anthrax.. They changed too.. They should have all just stayed the same.. Atleast James Hetfield is growing his hair back. He looked like an idiot with short hair...

And Kirk looks stupid with all the makeup; even thought he is growing his hair back...

Well I saw Megadeth Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The good news is they played Holy wars, In my darkest Hour, Hanger 18, Tout la monde, sweating bullets, reckoning day, She-wolf, paranoid, symphony of destruction, almost honest, trust, use the man, and another good one I can't remember. The bad news is they played Breadline, Crush 'em, and they started the show with prince of darkness (it was ok). You would think crush 'em would be cool live at least 'cause the crowd would be shouting crush 'em, but the crowd did not get into the new songs at all, and I think Megadeth got the point proving this by playing more songs off of cryptic writings. Of course the show was awesome, but it still doesnt beat the countdown tour where they played much heavier (older) songs. Overall it was megadeth and man can they play. got some good pics maybe ill post when i make my homepage next month. p.s. I prefer Anthrax with John Bush and I Thik Stomp and volume 8 are awesome too bad I cant say the same for metallica and megadeth. WHERE ARE YOU NICK MENZA?

What I liked so much about Anthrax in the past was they were different from everyone. Nobody else had their sound... Even thought it was NYHC, nobody sounded like them... Now, the are similar to alot of bands...
