Here is a list of todays biggest clubs in the Long Island, New York area... Wall Street Oak Beach Inn Zachary's Chelsea Street Ya know, there are a few more really good ones but they keep changing names! I don't even know what the new names are.. Most clubs now are playing good dance music and alot of freestyle. Alot of it either comes from the 80's or sounds like the 80's.. That should say something...

I could go to South Beach or the Grove...but I go to Manray's in Pompano Beach (just north of Fort Lauderdale). I go on Goth/Industrial night, but they have a Retro night (mostly disco though). I want to find more 80s/freestyle clubs down here! I think South Beach would have some Freestyle, but they would also charge and arm and a leg and maybe a torso to get in!

Hey M...I've got a Manray's in my area too...and it is affiliated with the one on your end. I've been to it a couple times but the atmosphere is a bit too strange for my liking. I'm just not used to seeing dominatrix and transvestites all around! LOL I do remember that the music was super though! What a night of dancing I had...on Halloween!

Haha. Transvestites and all that.. Yeah, they are around here to. Wierd to me. I'm on Long Island and it's not all that popular around here yet. hehe In the city is another story... No - not my thing either, Skyklad...

I've learned to ignore it. I can just dance all night and not even notice what is going on around me. I love the music, it is so much fun. I like the darkness of the club and the way most people dress. I would rather go to an 80s retro club though, anyday!
