Anybody remember Kix? They sang "Don't Close Your Eyes" - an awesome ballad.. Were THEY one hit wonders?

Oh, no. Sorry I forgot, Blaziegrl! Ahh, what were some of the other songs they did that you liked? I have the album right here in front of me and can't seem to remember any other songs that were big...

Hey Sal, in a way, Kix is still around....Steve Whiteman, the singer for Kix, has a band called Funny Money, and their set is made up of at least half old Kix songs....We opened up for them at L'Amour last year, and they were really cool, and put on an awesome show....I had opened up for Kix in a previous band with my singer, and Steve was real friendly and we swapped vocal warm-up techniques together! Anyway, I digress....Their new CD is great, and I wholeheartedly recomend it - they have two - the latest, "Back Again, and the debut, "Funny Money"....I feel that they are just Kix, version 2, but that's not a bad thing...my favorite song by the origian Kix is "Cold Shower" That's all folks! Cool. It's good to know some more people from the 80's are still in bands.. If I see one of their albums, I'll buy it.. Otherwise, when is Atello going to play on Long Island? And how are you's doing?
