Zel, yeah, we've got tons of bars here!! The place to be on the weekends is the infamous 6th Street. Party Central baby!! The entire street is nothing but bars and clubs..it rocks! Our local celebs Sandra Bullock and Matthew McConnaughy party here all the time. Matthew was partying on 6th Street the night of the infamous "Bongo Incident"

That is so cool. My husband has been looking around at computer companies and we looked at Dell. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised : ) I've never been in Central or Western USA and my impression of Texas was flat dry land with oil pumps and cattle everywhere (thank the media for that) Austin is beautiful with all the greenery and water : )

Yeah, thanks to the media, they have us all portrayed like the people on "king of the Hill"..ugh!! Nah, we're not all hicks..thanks to the partying college goers at UT. I have heard great things about Austin! I know that there are many things to do there. I have never been there myself. I hate that show "King of the Hill". It makes people seem so stupid. I know there are people like that, but we don't need to watch 1/2 hour of it every Sunday. I think they should move Futurama back up to the 8:30pm slot! :) Nice to meet you Nikki!
