Hai!

Let me feel that love
The only love i can feel.
It only happens,

Remembering those,
who lived the great dream i had.
And i'd never want,

More then what i had.
It was my secret back then.
And no one asked me

My condition, then.
They would never dare to ask,
how much i deserved,

Because they were friends.

Sometimes I wonder,
The reasons that things went wrong.
If there was some night,

That spread into them.
Or maybe it spread through me,
And now I can't see.

If it is in me,
Then why has no one stopped it,
And kept me from harm.

That is why i think,
That I am not the one gone.
But i was one saved,

From something that blinds.
And ruins old ways that saved,
And perverts meanings.

Meanings that made sense,
So the sun shined most days then.
No violations,

No one sold their souls.
So now I know that things changed.
And it's not progress,

And they will change soon.
Because none live long to hate,
Things that can love them.

But first the darkness...

Just so you don't feel neglected...cool Haiku's! I remember writing those in like 3rd or 4th grade http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif Can be pretty tough given the syllable constraints...pretty fun though!

Wow, that's really good. I can't write that sort of stuff. There is always disorder in what I write. But that is real good!

Thanks Guys! Actually I often when writing them (well I don't write many) I don't exactly use the right number of syllables(sp). Also this is the only way I can write poetry at all which is a bummer. Wish I could write lyrics!
