I will post more of my poems soon. My room is a pit and I have to find them. It's not going too well so far...

Hey, Tinajo! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

Have you seen my 3 poems that are in this forum? They are a couple of subjects down from this one in the subject called, "some of my stuff". One of them is a free verse style, with no rhythms or rhymes, but the other two rhyme a bit I think. The poems I write are very diverse. I don't stick to one style. It's the same with the poetry I read. I like most of it. I'm partial to Walt Whitman and Vachel Lindsay. I also really like Shakespeare's sonnets. I LOVE love poems. I usually don't like lovey dovey stuff, but poems about like love and lust and stuff like that really appeal to me for some reason!? Well, sorry for rambling, I hope I answered your question! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

Love and lust are more on the side of hot passion than 'lovey dovey'...that's why you like the love & lust....I think http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif Lust is a powerful and exciting emotion, so it's usually a bit more appealing http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

One powerful poem like this that comes to mind is William Butler Yeats' "Leda and the Swan" STRONG lust in that one....kinda borderlines on rape too...a lot of that went on in Greek myth though http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//eek.gif

Shakey-Poema probably meant poems. The s is right next to the a on the keyboard. Easy mistake. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif
