Another poem written by yours truly similar to Please Don't Cry.

FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HOLE
By Amy S.
I made a mistake
I bit off more than I can chew
My life no longer I can take
I know not what to do

The guilt makes me insane
The pain drives me crazy
I am no longer the same
I did this to me

I tried my best to save
All that needed sympathy
Everything I had I gave
I did not think of me

I pulled people out
In exchange I fell in
Stuck here I can't climb out
This hole will be the one I die in

Sometimes I reach for the light
From the bottom of my hole
I try not to give up the fight
But I'm afraid it's in vain, no one can save my soul

Another lovely piece /ubb/smilies/smile.gif From this, I'm thinking you give more of yourself to others than you give to yourself and it's hurting more than helping in most cases...but then, I'm very sleepy right now, so my brain is halfway to my pillow and unable to think at 100% /ubb/smilies/laugh.gif

Well you pretty much got it Roem. I based this one upon personal experience (like most of my poems). I tried to help a suicidal friend and when I pulled him out of it, I fell in in his place.
