car - what were you thinking lol : ) Mine was an 82 Toyota Corolla sr5. It was blue with white racing stripes, a hatch back and it was fast! I got this car in 87 and it lasted me only 2 years because I was a big dummy and handed the car keys over to my boyfriend when I worked nights and he ran it into the ground in 3 months (bstrd) : )

LOL!!! My first car was a GREEN Pinto YUCK. I only had it for 2 months, then I got a White Dodge Omni...I loved this car, but like you Zel I let my boyfriend drive it, and well he decided to drive it on a frozen lake and you guessed it .....It fell through the ice. We did get it out and it actually ran for about 2 weeks then bye bye car! Ayla

Hmm.. My first car was a 1970 Chevy Nova.. I loved that car! As we're following a trend here, I gave it to my girlfriend, at the time, and she totaled it.. I used to race this car all over the place. It costed me $300.00 and it only had 89,000 miles on it in late 1989 (when I bought it). A little old lady owned it and the mileage was accurate because she kept every oil change receipt. I owned it for 2 or 3 years and never gave it an oil change. I raced it constantly, too! And even after my ex smashed it, we bought another one (with a bad engine) and put the old engine in it. After time, we sold it.. That engine still ran for years (it may still be running). They don't make cars like that anymore...

My fist Car was a 1978 Camaro Z28. I love that car. I got it in 1986. It had 92,000 miles on it. I drove the hell out of it and it kept going. I wish I still had that Car. When I sold it to my best friend in 1989 It had 145,000 and was still running strong. It never let me down.

Mine was a blue ford fiesta that would run forever on a half a tank of gas - I think you always have a place in your heart for your first set of wheels. Had to sell it before I moved to the states - broke my heart

lol! My first was also a Toyota Corolla sr* hatchback, stick shift! Of course, I didn't get mine until I was 16 (1991) and had to buy it off my parents. By then, my parents (who had bought it new in '85) had put 126,000 miles on in and my Mom had wrecked it 4 times. I added another 2 wrecks to the total before I got rid of that baby in 1995. When I traded her in, she had 212,000 miles on her and was still running strong. I remember being one of the only people of "my generation" who's parents didn't buy them a new car. I was a little bitter at first, but it's really true: you hold a special place in your heart for that first set of wheels. I've had two cars and 3 motorcycles since then, but none of them had a personality quite like good ol' Cory!

My first wasn't a car, but a big beautiful 1972 GMC van, complete with the flares and spoilers...I bought it in 1982 and kept it for 5 great years. Some weekends I even used it to run a local band's equipment around to thier gigs, well until the equipment started to ruin the carpeted interior
I actually cried when I had to get rid of it, cause it was dying of metal fatigue :

My 1st car was a 1983 Chevy Caprice Classic. It was grey w/grey interior & ran like a dream. If you have no idea what kind of car I'm talking about, it was a big car, 8 cylinders. I used to call her "Big Bertha". That car would have ran forever if I hadn't been hit head-on by a drunk driver in a 4x4. Thanks to "Bertha", I was perfectly fine (scared shitless but no injuries) unfortunately she didn't fair as well.

Wow! A 65 Mustang for 50 bucks! I do think they are worth alot of money now - as long as they're in good condition.. How was it for the 50 bucks?

There were 2 or 3 small spots where the guy sanded and painted but other then that the car was in mint condition..
