View Full Version : Bad Things That I Did In The 80s
Sal Collaziano 2-10-00, 07:14 PM And not that I'm proud of any of this! I just figured it could make an interesting discussion... Soda Machine - My friends and I stole an entire Coke machine in our Bronco (no seats in the back). We had soda for a LONG time! Bronco - We used to drive down side streets late, late, late at night and speed up until the stop sign. When we needed to stop, the huge Bronco tires made a very scary low pitch, loud screetch - and at the same time we would throw out the back window a couple of metal garbage cans that we'd stolen from on the same block - we'd throw out glass bottles (vodka, southern comfort, etc) - and scream things like "my ****in' eyeball! Oh, my God my arm fell off!" etcetra, etcetra, etcetra. It sounded like there was a tremendously huge accident at like 3am hehe USA Today Machine - We used bolt cutters and stole a USA Today newspaper machine. We kept the newspaper in the front as a memorabilia kinda thing. hehe Shed - We built a shed/gym with wood, cement, windows, etc from all stolen pieces around our neighborhood. Appliences - We used to go into stores, look at expensive items, then bring them to the cash register and ask if we could return them without a receipt. When we were told NO, we walked out with the product... Food - We robbed one of those food trucks (coffee trucks) and had candy bars and food for months... Hmm.. I will think of more later.. The amount of cassette tapes that I'd taken was kinda ridiculous... I was pretty dopey!
Blaziegirl 2-10-00, 07:21 PM OMG Sal shocking, a couple of those things really made me laugh though. This brings back a lot of memories for me, don't have a lot of time to tell ya all of them right now because I have a lot of messages to read but 'I'LL BE BACK' as Arnold would say LOL.
What we did with pop machines in the cafeteria is get a couple of big guys to tilt and shake the machine and it was free coke for all. We used to take a whole bunch of McDonalds ashtrays and then flatten them and use them as disks to whip them at people we hate driving down the street - usually the preppies lol. The eve of the last day of school we used to go into our vice principles neighbourhood and remove all his neighbours lawn ornaments and just pile them (creatively) on his lawn. it didn't matter how late he stayed up on vigil - we got him Heehee : ) Our mascot was the pink panther and the art class had made a life size pink panther with bermuda shorts - too preppy. We stole it in March brought it to all our parties. In June he as plastered in Molson Canadian beer labels and has a black and red plaid lumber jacket - that ended up on the V.P.'s lawn that year. Coitus Interuptus. We used to drive around to all the lover's lane parking spots and my friend has a red flashing light you plug into the lighter - we interrupted a lot of people - but we were also chased a lot :) lol
Mirdonamy 2-11-00, 04:35 AM I was 3yrs to 13 in the 80s. The bad stuff I did was very insignificant since I was too young to be malicious. I did steal tapes, but that was in the early 90s...bad me! Mostly, my friends and I would steal stop signs, speed limit signs or anything else that fell over during heavy storms/hurricanes. I started that in 7th grade. My mom always made me get rid of them by tossing them by the canal. I did start drinking in 8th grade (I was 13). I would go to my friends house and we would pretend we were bartenders (at her parent's home bar...when they weren't home), and we'd make all sorts of stuff. We'd then watch movies and giggle all night in her room. That was bad for 13yr olds I guess.
All I can remember doing bad, was stealing some street signs. What we did with them I can't remember now.
Blaziegirl 2-14-00, 11:54 PM Here are just a couple of stupid stunts I pulled! When I was 8 or 9 my dad used to send my sister and I to the store after dark, so we amused ourselves by throwing lit matches inside gastanks! To STUPID! Not realizing we could have killed ourselves... Ok so I was a little older this time. I caught my boyfriend in bed with another girl and at the time, I was drunk, SOOO I decided that he was going to pay but good for doing this to me! I got in my car and floored it right into his car, I figured I better get the hell outta there because he was running after me. To make a long story short I hit three telephone poles while trying not to run a red light, I didn't want to kill anyone. I ended up spending two months in the hospital with a lot of broken bones!!!
Sal Collaziano 2-15-00, 02:47 PM :( Now that's a sad, sad story.. :( I hope you got him back good... :|
Ouch! I hope he suffered in guilt over upsetting you so much.
Blaziegirl 2-16-00, 09:53 AM He came to see me at the hospital trying to get me to forgive him! I just told him to get out and never bother me again! Ya see we were having problems before this, I tried to break up with him several times before the accident, but he talked me out of it. He was a real jerk...
Man I had a loser in the early 90s - everytime he sensed i was going to dump him and get on with my life (which was alot) he would tell me how much I mean to him and if anything happened to us he didn't know if he could live. Well I stopped feeling bad for him, dumped him, got on with my life and damb - the jerk is still living LOL
We used to go out Egging people, Car Etc. It was soo much fun. We used to steal trash Cans and throw them at peoples mail boxes to knock them down. We used to take baseball bats to peoples mailboxes. It was soo much fun as I look back at it, It was crazy. I never got caught.
Well, I had this old VW bug for a while and one day we went out to the local BMX track to see if anyone was out on their bikes(I was really big into the race scene and we would go out and practice on the week days at the track). Right before we got there it started down pouring bad. I pulled into the dirt parking lot of the track and we waited for the rain to let up.|i It started to slow down some and I started to drive towards the track. The car started sliding in the slop made by the rain and thats where it started<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=">D">. There were four of us in the car and we were having a blast doing donuts and jumping hills. We had 55 gallon drums for trash cans and I accidentally slid into one comming off of a donut. The thing went flying about 15'<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek">:. Needless to say no drum was safe after that. Things kind of progressed on the way home. Any construction cones on the way home were fair game.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> It was pretty wild to see about a hundred construction cones go flying.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> After that we made the big stepup. Construction sawhorses.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/devil.gif ALT=":evil"> Thank God the car had a steel bumper and all of the drivetrain in the back. You should have seen the look on peoples faces after you took out a couple of sawhorses with the blinking lights on them at about 40mph when you pulled up next to them at the next red light.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> My dad kept asking me where all the orange streaks were comming from that were on the car. If he only knew.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\"> Shortly after the bug lost 3rd gear. It was still a sawhorse killer.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=">D">

<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> that is such a great story. First snow of every winter a whole bunch of us used to go up to the mall parking lot after closing and do donuts. I loved using my hand brake to spin <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">
Sal Collaziano 2-27-00, 09:23 AM Geez, Jess.. What the heck did you do to that car?!?! hehe I never went that nuts before. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">
Sal Collaziano 2-27-00, 09:26 AM And Craig.. My friends and I went through a stage like that too.. Once, we marked up our entire high school with spray paint.. We wrote all over it like lunatics.. It was really everywhere you could imagine - and we had a big school... I was just lookout, though.. I wan't much of a property damager..
On other occasions, (only one which I attended, and was lookout/driver) we did something called Santa Bashing... Now, I felt way too bad about that.. That's about the time I met my ex-girlfriend and moved away from all of this stuff. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> hehe
<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> I sold tickets for a smash-a-bug contest<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">
On the holiday note. That year for mischief night I had been seeing this girl after she dumped her old boyfriend then her and I broke up. (highschool relationship kinda thing) Well, we ran into eachother on mischief night at the local 7-11. He had two friends with him and I had two with me. We made alittle wager, $20 bucks a person ($60 per car) on who could steal the most pumpkins within 2 hrs. After cleaning out most of my friends neighborhood We stopped at the last house close to the exit. There were about 5 pumpkins that were pretty darn big. My one friend grabbed the two smallest, my other friend grabbed the largest and I grabbed the next two largest by the stalks. We were running back to the car when a car turns into the developement and goes to make a right hand turn on to the street I am getting ready to cross. I try to stop and one of the stalks breaks off and the pumpkin rolls out infront of the car just missing it. The car goes alittle further up, slams on the brakes and starts turning around! Uh oh, time to go! I scoupe up the pumpkin (it was too big to let go<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">) and run for the car. My buddies are already inside and I throw the pumpkins into the back seat and get the car going. By this time the other car is almost there. The bug is slow to start with but now that it is full of pumpkins it will hardly move. This car chases us around the developement for about ten minutes when I get a last minute idea. I head back down the street that the car came in. Right where it joins the highway there is the 7-11. I keep the car floored (35mph<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":(">) and don't slow down. The car is right on my butt when I turn into the 7-11 with the wheels squeeling and I drive right past it just missing the dumpster on the side (I planned it that way<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)">) and I jump the dirt hill behind it landing in the MacIntosh inns parkinglot. I bang a quick right and then a left so I am traveling parallel with the highway. The only problem is that the only exit to get out has a right turn only. This will bring me back past the 7-11 with the people who were chasing us sitting in the parkinglot. Screw it. I see a break in traffic and I punch it to try and get enough speed up and BOOM! we are airborn again. I jumped the 5" high concrete median and turned left on the highway. We ended up winning by about 15 pumpkins (we had over 50 in the bug including some tiny 3" baby ones in the glove compartment) so we each got our $20 and we all decided to dump the pumpkins in the ex-girlfriends yard.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"> We still talk about that night when I see my friends from up North.

LOL that is hilarious. The Great Pumpkin run.
Gunner Girl 3-16-00, 06:46 AM In my younger days, I was what you would call a professional shoplifter. I always had nice clothes, jewelery, make-up, etc. 'cuz I would rob stores blind. Remember when they DIDN'T have all the high-tech stuff they have now? It used to be sooooo easy to steal. I wouldn't even think about it now!!
Blaziegirl 3-16-00, 01:12 PM I had a lousy father, we had to wear hand me downs so I got picked on in school. I started stealing clothes, I got very good at it and couldn't walk out of a store without stealing something even if I didn't need it, I thought one day I'm going to get caught for this, never did. One day I got into some serious trouble and was facing 10 years in prison, scarred the crap out of me. Ever since then I've been a good little girl lol <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
I remember when I was around 5 or 6 my mother was pretty ill so my dad was handling the shopping and the running around and I usually got dragged along. This one day we hadn't had lunch yet and we'd be running around all afternoon. We were at the grocery store and I had asked my dad for a chocolate bar but of course he said no. Somehow 10 minutes later in the car he hears paper being carefully unwrapped in the back seat and turns around and see's me stuffing a caramilk in my mouth. Not only did he yell and scream bloody murder but he actually took me back to the store, went to the store manager and told him what I did. I got the lecture of a life time. It cured me of ever stealing again - I always picture his big jowly face looming down at me. That doesn't mean I wasn't tempted. You see some kids who's parents take them clothes shopping once a week and it really made a lot of other people feel bad. It was expensive to look good.
I agree with Jess, the kids today with their baggy pants and long shiftless tops look awful but I think they pay more for those ugly clothes than we ever did for our nice ones - suckers <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
HAHAHA! I did the same thing with a Lolipop when I was around 5 years old.<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
Thats alright, here shortly they will a closet full of nasty expensive cloths.<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif ALT=";)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> It couldn't happen soon enough!

One incident was one of the mild moments in 1986 Senior Year when I'd always get drunk in school putting schnopps in my coke can and drinking it during classes. Well to try to make it short I ended up unable to walk on my own so my friends tried to help me<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rollin --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> (teachers didn't care in my school as long as you weren't being loud and disturbing people) but this day I WAS. Got kicked out of my class by my typing teacher and sent to study hall for calling her a senile old bitch and she needs to retire and maybe she should tell this other girl to shut up also (<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :evil --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/devil.gif ALT=":evil"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> whom I was fighting with ) but NOOOO had to tell ME to shut up well F@$% you you stupid whore." Then instead of going to study hall I went to the principle to tell him how this teacher kicked me out of class and how my parents pay good money for me to be there to learn yadda yadda yadda. Got caught, suspended, (almost xpelled) <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rolleyes --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> pulled in front of the school board at their meeting that month. Oh and the funny thing is they let me drive home knowing I was drunk and on the way home I got pulled over by the cops<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :eek --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> : who asked me if I was drinking (my bottle of schnopps was in the glove compartment spilling over everything cus I couldn't find the lid.) anyway my reply was NO Sir, I just got out of school How could I be drinking . I was messing with my radio though so I probably did swerve a little and I'm sorry. The cop let me go. Then off to my friends house I went to continue the Many advetures of Jenny and friends.-HAHA <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :lol --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 8) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/glasses.gif ALT="8)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
Sal Collaziano 3-26-00, 03:14 PM hehe. Some of these stories are really funny. Especially the pumpkin thing.. I feel bad for all the little kids who lost their pumpkins, though! <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :( --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> Ahh, what are ya gonna do.. Teenagers need to have fun too. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
I remember another thing I was good at.. Stealing!
I used to go into stores (like smoke shops, 7-11's, stationary stores, etc) and steal candy bars all over the place.. The KEY was to be LOUD. You gotta be LOUD! "Ahh, should I get this, Don? You want one 'a these? A! Go screw yer ass!" That kinda stuff.. Nobody ever suspects you of stealing when you're attracting so much attention to yourself..
Also, we built our own gym out of plywood, cement, and windows from nearby contruction plants where houses were being built..
We stole all kinds of things.. Those were some fun years. A time when you can do bad things and not get into TOO much trouble for it... <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->
I tucked my sweater in. With suspenders.
