A friend and myself were discussing 80's TV shows, and we hit a snag. Unfortunately, I don't have very much information to offer. Neither one of us remember a lot about it, just that we both liked it.

The only thing we remember is that it was a show about a cop with a robot partner, whose chest would open up for repairs. The chest opening had something to do with the tie he was wearing.

It may be Automan, but I'm not sure. If anyone can confirm that this is right, or has any other suggestions as to what it is I will be very thankful.
