Does anyone out there no anything about when it should be out or when they will fininsh filming? I'm getting sick of waiting for it, 3 years!!! Secondly, who do you think'll win. Me, I definately think it will be Freddy because he can kill in dreams and can never die. Think about it! As long as there are people who remember him and dream, he'll be there!

I've heard it's suppose to be out by the end of this year or next. I've heard numerous different scenarios as far as how the movie is to play out. I got this one out of Slasher City, "The story concern's an epic battle of good and evil which begins in the 17th century and figures into the end of the universe. Jason and Freddy are pawns in this major event and I figure the film will be simliar to something akin to Hellraiser. It's set in 1999, starring Alice from A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5 and Steven and Jessica from Jason Goes To Hell The Final Friday. The release date was set for 1999."

Possible titles thrown around are:

Friday the 13th X
A Nightmare On Elm Street 8
A Nightmare on Friday the 13th

Actually, I heard something about Freddy visiting Jason as a kid then when Jason grows up they duel it out. One of the titles I liked was Freddy the 13th! Ah! An idea just come to mind after that. See who can come up with the longest horror title only using as many horror titles as possible? Let's see, here goes my effort:

I know what you did last summer Screaming at the Poltergeist which was at the Creepshow on Friday the 13th on Elm Street just after the Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, but that was Childs Play compared to what the Evil Dead did on the Night of the Living dead at the Pet Cemetary while Carrie (who was a Hellraiser), her dog Cujo, and her pet Critters were on the Graveyard Shift at Halloween, (which made them Brain Dead), were working on the Blair Witch Project with the Puppet Master (who only just survived the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and is good friends with Nosferatu and Dracula) when The Blob came out of The Gate in Cameron's Closet with a Cellar Dwellar and killed The Fly (which was Shining and a bit of a Psycho) and other Species until the Creature from the Black Lagoon - the Exorcist - came to perform an exorcism on the Killer Clowns from Outer Space with a fellow Warlock who used a Witchboard which was previously used to rid the world of Ghoulies on Fright Night at Salem's Lot, which is just down the road from the House of Wax where the Langoliers and the Re-Animator live and collect Body Parts in the Village of the Damned with the Children of the Corn who have just found The Relic!!!<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rolleyes --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP--> <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :eek --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON STOP-->

Ok fright night listeners listen up this movie has been in the works for yrs and it will be in the works for alot longer than than, i an 2nd co writer to the movie and believe me it is not getting anycloser to being finished, reason, ill tell u, 80's horror films went out with big hair, fans, will be left in the dust will most likely not like this film, it wont have the spunk and classic horror ill grab any random weapon i find the the woods take u in the dream world and slice and dice u into a million pieces and send u back to the real world for ur parents to find you the next morning give it a rest leave it to the experts the script will be done when its done and u faithful fans of the horror legends will get to see this movie

Well almost everyone says that freddy will win, freddy kills in dreams, do you ever remember seeing jason sleep?
The point is that they are fighting in hell! Freddy would win if it came magic wise but strength wise jason would win. But is they sent out pinhead from hellraiser freddy would look like a wimp!

Well as for the movie there is a rumor goin that the movie will never see the day,but i hope it does Jason X was 0k the beggining kicked ass when he kills the cop and get's the others after and the killings throught the movie were awsome too but when he changes to the cyborg-jason or whateva there it begins to suck first you would say ROBOCOP and not JASON dammit and second when jason flies in the space to the other and there that black dude that come like supwerman with his jetpack and saves them hahahaha damm i was laughing but if the end wasn't sucking like it is the movie would be great, as for jason vs freddy i prefer Freddy it's my favorite of all but dont say jason suck's ass or whateva i mean jason is a killing machine he kills what about 11 to 14 people in each film and freddy only kills 6 to 7 peeps so you see the diffrence and even if he is in Jason's head it doesn't absolty mean Freddy will win freddy like's to joke around and kill with fun but jason as i said is a killing machine there is no joke when jason is around so i think it would be a equal fight vs the two of them but i hope FREDDY KRUGER wins and i also hope that the movie comes up i mean we deserve it for all that waiting and still...

There are a few things about this film that are already bothering me.
Kane Hodder wont be behind the mask of Jason Voorhees. Brad Renfro was gonna take Kane's place as the new Jason but now the roll has been passed to Jason Ritter.
I know that Kane's not the only one to wear the hockey mask but he has in 7, 8, 9 and 10. So having Jason Ritter be the eighth actor to put on the mask just doesn't seem right. They say they want a skinnier Jason that will look like more of an even mach against Freddy but the only way I can figure that that will fit in with the other Friday The 13th films is if the story takes place before Jason built himself up.
To me, Kane is Jason and I don't see a reason for anyone else to take his place now.
Also I've never liked the thought of Jason and Freddie. I've always though of Jason and Michael Myers being a better mach.. Jason and Michael are both Silent Killers while Freddie make corny jokes throughout the Nightmare films. I like them but I would rather not hear Freddie use some cheesy line like "Whatsa matter? Cat got you tongue? HA HA HA!?" and instead have Freddie fight some other "talking" villain and Jason fight Michael.
As a fan of both Freddie, Jason and horror movies, I'll still see this film regardless of who plays Jason or who he fights against but I just don't see it being a big success.

Jason could kick freddys ass to no end. hes stronger faster cant die because his cells regenerate even if non existent. also he DOESN'T SLEEP. Freddy is a week little skinny boy who makes corny jokes and picks on children in there dreams. Because as we have seen if he comes out of the dreams they kick his ass ("Freddy dead the final nightmare"). Jason kicks the @#%$ out of army men. not to mention in the movie Jason X the say he survived being hanged, gassed, lethal injection, firing squad, and electric chair. Freddy as I said fights children and dies by a price of dynamite in the chest.
JASON Voorhees wins hands down.
