Unlike last years fiasco of a WrestleMania, this one really delivered!! I was very satisfied. Y2J retained his title, Guerrero won the Euro title (now Test can be moved up to the IC ranks), Edge & Christian won back the tag straps in one HELL of an awesome TLC match....definitely lived up the original and then some!! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

The only downside to the entire night was Angle beating Snaggle-tooth, but at least Benoit got the final word in afterwords http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

Triple H and Taker put on an GREAT performance. A bit surprised to see Taker win it, but he now holds a couple solid records. Never been beaten by Triple H and I believe he's also undefeated at 9 or 10-0 in WrestleMania's!!

The Gimmick battle royal? Loved it http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif I definitely had a mini-mark out when Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan came out to do guest commentary. The Hardcore match was a wild on....almost forgot about that. That thing went everywhere and ended up with a nice fall by Raisin and Big Show...Kane is hardcore.

Vince vs Shane? Couldn't have asked for a better telling of this tale. Trish turns on Vince, Linda awakens and kicks Vince in the nuts, and finally....Shane-O-Mac beat down his old man http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

And what can I say about the main event? Absolutely awesome and exactly what I expected. They've finally turned Stone Cold into a bad guy. WHAT A GREAT PPV. PERHAPS THE BEST PPV IN THE HISTORY OF THE BUSINESS!!!!!!

How great was it to see Angle and Benoit doing the old school mat wrestling, and even break into some near legit amateur style grappling?!?!?! I have no problem with the ending, put Angle over as a pussy who has to cheat to win. Again, it isnt about who won, it is about furthering the story.

TLC II in a word, WOW! Great effort by all involved, and it was GREAT to see my boy RHINO goring the Hardy's out of thier shoes! WHen he picked up Lita, I was SCREAMING, hoping he was going to launch her ass into those tables, or better yet, give her the piledriver throught the table like he did Lorrie Fullington.
I dont care who won, it was just great to see.

UT vs HHH. Good effort by HHH makijng UT look like he is still worthy of a WWF pay check. That chokeslam looked AWESOME until they showed the foam or whatever it was he landed on. But, great ending nonetheless, and terrific match.

Gimmick Battle Royal: Well, imagine how disapointed I was when HONKEY TONK MAN didnt surface! He is GOD of old school, well, at least of mid 80s WWF. This match provided the line of the night: Heenan "We'll be at Wrestlemania 38 by the time the Iron Shiek gets to the ring" Classic BRAIN. Although how sad was it to see one half of the most dominating Tag Team of the 80s for the WWF (Demolition)have to reprise the REPO MAN gig to get a pay day? Poor guy!

Test gets beat. GREAT! No IC push for him though, until he can talk on the mic, keep him a lower card guy!

VInce and Shane. Shane-O Mac is the MAN when he gets in the ring. He made TEST look like the next coming of God a few years back, and he took the fall to end all falls vs Steve Blackman. He pulls out the VAN TERMINATOR on Vince for the pin?!?!?! Give him a belt! Plus Vince looks like an idiot (for the time being) and loses just about everything.

Rock vs Austin. Well, who would have thought that Rocky would get LOUDLY booed when he got ANY offense going. And who would have thought that SCSA would get cheered for turning heel? Am I the only one who thought that they would have a WCW star or two run in and beat on Austin and Vince?

Seriously, the best PPV in at least 3 or 4 years.

Well, the part of the night that intrigued me even more was Benoit making the save for Y2J. That moment of uneasy tension as they stared at each other was tense and classic. I would love to see them become a tag team and take on the canadian blondes.

As far as HHH and Austin, how do you explain them teaming up. I see with Austin and VKM, that can be explained, but the guy that tried to kill Austin is now his ally? Doesnt seem right. Maybe they will have them run roughshod over everybody untill a later PPV, and have some WCW guys come in and bust them up.
