A lot of the superstars today are kind of reflective of superstars of the 80's...

Val Venis - This guy is definitely Rick Rude's re-incarnate. The girations, the cocky attitude, the women http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

The Hardy Boys - These two remind me of The Rockers, Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty. Young, high flyers with plenty of potential. Jeff's gonna be big one of these days...

The Acolytes - These guys could be a modern day Legion of Doom or Demolition...completely overpowering.

Ok, that's what I can think of off hand...I had more in my head, I'll remember again http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Any other observations?

I sort of see Stone Cold Steve Austin as a bit of a Bad News Brown rip off. That guy who just never gets on with anyone who respects no one. Bad News Brown even beat up then WWF President; Jack Tunny once.

A lot of people say that if Steve Austin had his Stone Cold gimmick in the 80s he would have been one of the most hated wrestlers around.

Chuck and Billy=Lenny and Lodi (ok, so that was 90's but it's the only one I can think of)
