All the matches went exactly as I expected except one....the main event. For months I've been hearing how the WWF was looking to give Taker another title run for his years of loyal service as his career winds down.

Only thing I can think of now is that they're keeping Austin champ until The Rock gets back in July so he can extract his vengeance <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Was a decent PPV anyway...crowd didn't seem too loud though...not a good sign considering last Mondays ratings went down to a 4.5 <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> What the heck is everyone watching?!

Was a decent ppv. Of course I had a migraine and don't remember half of it. lol Good thing I taped it.

Wasn't at all surprised to see E & C against the 2 Chris's. lol They'll be a decent feud there.

Was nice to see Kane win the IC title. I think that Undertaker should have won against Austin though.

Chyna vs Lita was actually a decent match. Better than I expected it to be.

Austin = Bad ratings! I hate that SOB <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> I'm happy as hell Y2J & Benoit kicked butt and got the tag team titles from them <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> Never thought I'd be a big fan of Benoit's, it happens <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I've always been a fan of Benoits for years....the guy's a machine! <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> He really is the best technical talent out there right now with William Regal at a very close second.

I think it was a major mistake turning Austin heel....just doesn't make any sense. He was great as a heel in WCW and ECW, but for his WWF persona, it just isn't fitting right <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

I wasn't a big Benoit fan either till late! <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> I haven't seen Judgement Day yet. Haven't had time too. Nor have I seen last weeks Raw and Smackdown. Saw Raw last night though! Yeah Jericho and Benoit!! <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

It's quotes like that that mean he does equal ratings. It is a wrestling fact that a heel with the belt and the babyface chasing the belt is more intriging to the fan. I must be the only one here that has never liked the Undertaker. I like him now better than ever before. I hated the cartoon guys and the fact that he "got his powers" from the darkside always bugged me. I'd rather see someone like Jericho (been a Jericoholic since his days in WCW as the Lionheart) rise up and become a new main eventer. Sucks to see the best worker in WWF go down with an injury. Get well soon HHH. ....and that's all I have to say about that.

I've liked Jericho since his ECW days....not quite as charismatic then as now, but still a good up and coming star (at the time of course <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">).

About the ratings...That's definitely true daffy, but the fact also remains that the ratings have been progressively dropping every week since: A)The Rock left and B)Lawler got canned.

There's rumblings that Triple H will return as a face upon returning from his injury leave for the next few months. The guy does deserve a little vacation for all the hard work and effort he puts into the biz though anyway <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

The ratings are definitely due to the Rock not being there. It also didn't help that WWF was in cruise control for awhile. Raw was a great step in the right direction.

They're also hoping the WCW 'invasion' and start up of the promotion in a few weeks will help bring the ratings up. I saw this happening the second they bought WCW though....once the competition left, Vince and the team lost their edge a bit <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> That and the death of ECW...the wrestling world needs a new promotion to rival them. Even if they suck, there should be some kind of competition...

I agree about compitition. I loved ECW (gotta admit I never saw it before TNN but RVD vs Jerry Lynn was enough to hook me). I even liked WCW. I can't wait to see Mike Awesome, Lance Storm, Hugh Morris (always been a fan of his for some reason), Chuck Palumbo, Sean O'Haire, and hopefully Scott (not Rick) Steiner and Booker T again (please AOL buy out their contracts)

Oh man djdaffy...you missed some of the best action ever prior to TNN....back then I liked ECW better than both WCW and WWF <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> Tag teams like The Gangstas, The Eliminators, Public Enemy, Sabu & RVD, The Dudleys...tops stars like Raven, The Sandman, Shane Douglas, Benoit, Malenko, Guerrero, Jericho, Austin, Cactus Jack, Funk, Taz...I could go on and on, but anyway...

Scott Steiner did have an interview with Ross that reportedly went a lot better than expected. Booker T definitely wants in to the WCW, so he's just about a lock. Once they get Booker T and Steiner in, they'll really be able to kick start this thing into full gear <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I've said this once, I'll say it again. And to make it come across more... I'll add a nice temper tantrum to it:
*stomps her feets, cries and screams at the top of her lungs*
I want RVD in the WWF now!!!!! <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

Yes indeed...fact of the matter is, WWF has more than enough talent already! That's one thing that makes this WCW thing work out well...the guys that haven't gotten their proper nudge can get it over at the new promotion...opens up a whole new forum to bring up a new generation of superstars <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
