Is the WWF finally starting the HUGE push that the Hardy's were promised by putting the IC strap on (huh, huh, huh, he said strap-on)Jeff Hardy? Are they going to push him to the moon? Is he a good chouce to defeat HHH for the title?

Yeah, their pushing....Jeff anyway. Matt doesn't really have that something that'll take him all the way, but Jeff definitely does. Is he ready to be IC champ? No...not yet. I think they're testing the waters to see how the fans react to it.

Personally, I think it's the upset of the century to get a win over Triple H for that title...that goes for any superstar. He really is that damn good. If he won it from anyone else it'd be one thing, but no one currently active, especially the Hardys, are really in Triple H's league as far as overall talent goes.

We'll see what happens though....I didn't think Shawn Michaels deserved the title when he won it from the British Bulldog way back when, and he did pretty good with this career http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Angle cracks me up. Even though he can get annoying. I'll never forget that scene from RAW (I think) when he's talking with Trish and she asks him something and he replys (while looking at her chest) ohhh...it's true. Maybe you had to be there but the delivery was perfect. How about the time he started crying when he won the WWF Champion belt? I'm a little sad he's been pushed a side a bit but oh well he'll be back.

I'm overjoyed they threw him back a notch. Being a very long time wrestling fan, I go very strongly with the philosophy of 'paying your dues' Angle hasn't paid the dues yet....2-3 years is the absolute minimum before earning that WWF title. Most guys spend 7-10 years fighting their way to that prominence. For a guy like Angle to just come in and have the world handed to him on a silver platter is just bad.

While Angle is extremely talented in the ring and is good for comedy relief, he doesn't have anything even closely resembling that special something that makes a great world champion and main eventer...just my 2 cents on that one http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

He'll definitely win the title again, but hopefully they'll wait until next year to do it or very late this year at the earliest. Let him pay his dues in the ring, then he'll go over as a legitimate champion.

I agree Roem. He's entertaining but they moved him up way too fast. Unfortunately I missed most of Smackdown last night. Only caught the first 30 minutes and I sprained my ankle while watching. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif Couldn't do on the clock so work would pay for it. I think it's great to see Jeff getting a push though. Think it needs to go a little slower though. Doubt he'll keep the title for long.

I was thinking the exact same thing Jazzmyn....the title reign won't be for too long....not the right time yet. Jeff definitely does deserve a good solid push though...he's got all the tools (although, there's definitely room for improvement in the mic work dept.), now he just needs some solid storylines and maybe a new attitude to bring him up to the main event level.

I think a heel turn could do wonders. If he can sell it good (like HBK did in his early singles run), he'll be all set.

I agree with the idea of a heel turn,it adds dimentions to a character,and brings out mic skills in a person(you're forced to be more creative when your the heel)
