I'm still so angry I got rid of my Atari! I just was blinded by the awesome graphics of Nintendo (it came with a gun! You shoot ducks with this lazer gun!) I saw no need at the time to keep it...
I sold mine and about 30 games for $15 at a garage sale! :dammit: I wish I could kick my own ass for that!

Never got rid of mine. Well, the 2600 we got rid of when we upgraded to a 7800, but I still have the 7800 stored away :cool:

Most people I knew at the time did the same thing as you though... got rid of it or had to get rid of it to get that brand spankin new NES :lol::p

Got rid of my Atari system about 1997 when my parents sold the home I grew up in... It was stored away and they asked if I wanted it with all my games. I already had Nintendo and Playstation so I said no... Not even sure it worked anymore...

I still got mine :thumb: but the last time i hooked it up it did'nt work :no:
