#1-MTV!!! Oh, how I loved my MTV..well, now I love MTV2 because they actually show videos.
#2-Entertainment..cable TV was introduced, we had the best tv shows during the whole decade, and the music was the best! Oh yeah, and the movies, how can we forget all the great movies we watched during the 80's
#3- The Technology..we had computers, cell phones started becoming popular, VCR's and CD's were replacing records and tapes.

June 18, 1986.... 2:17-2:23PM........
I lost my virginity.
I was listening to MTV during these few tense moments. I will always have a soft place in my heart for Madonas "Poppa Dont Preach" and Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It"
MEMORIES!
Probably THE greatest thing that happened to *ME* in the 80s!

Damn Jasper, even right down the to the minute(s)???
Let's see... Uh... June or July (don't remember which) 1989. Sometime in the middle of the afternoon.
The other big thing for in the 80's was that in 88 I got the HELL OUT OF H.S.! (graduated) I loved the music, but couldn't stand H.S.
Oh, and on May 5, 1988 I went and bought a brand new maroon 1988 Mustang GT, with which on May 6, 1988 I took my date to my senior prom with. I was the bomb pulling up in a hot new Mustang w/ paper plates only a day old. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif I still miss that car. I'm still kicking myself for selling it 6 years ago. *sniff*

The rise of metal/hard rock into the mainstream! God how I miss the days of Headbanger's Ball & MTV. Now, that network sickens me. Nothing but crappy shows & the same handful of videos played over & over & over again.
