Well, guys, tomorrow I'm off on my annual pilgrimage to Mexico. I will be flying into Mexico City and spending four days there exploring all the amazing sights in the largest city in the world, before taking the train up to San Miguel de Allende to visit with my Mexican family. I'll only be spending two weeks this year and I won't be teaching an English class, so this will be a real "vacation" for me South of the Border. I'm sure I will be popping into an Internet cafe every few days to log into the Xchange, of course! I couldn't possibly survive two weeks without visiting! :eek: Have fun and be good while I am gone! :wave:

Hola, mis amigos. I arrived safely in Mexico on Monday night. It has been an incredibly busy past few days. Visited the amazing Aztec pyramids of Teotihuacan on Tues. then off the Puebla yesterday. Today was spent exploring Mexico City, which is an amazingly large city, with so very much to see and do. Tomorrow, I am off to San Miguel de Allende to be reunited with my Mexican family. I can recall last years trips with fond memories, you had an absolute blast and I really made some great US friends in Playa Del Carmen later that month.

Just checking in with all my Xchanger buds! Thanks to all for their kind wishes. I arrived safely in San Miguel de Allende. The weather has been fantastic, sunny and very hot, but that is to be expected. Tomorrow, I will be visiting the stunning city of Guanajuato with my friend from the U.K., Arnie. Every day here in San Miguel is an adventure. If anyone wants to experience "true" Mexico, away from the vacation beach spots, I would suggest you visit San Miguel de Allende, as it is truly unforgettable. I am now addicted to coming here and will probably return year after year. I will be sad to leave my Mexican family next Monday to return to the U.S., but I will leave with the knowledge that I can return. Take care all my friends and I will be posting like the normal postaholic I am upon my return! Peace, out! :wave:

Hooray!!! I have made it back to the States safely and in one piece!!! It was sad saying goodbye to my wonderful Mexican host family, but I know I will see them again... soon. Now, time to visit with my father on the horse farm, to recuperate from my vacation. Thanks to everyone for all of the lovely greetings and well-wishes. You are such amazing friends! :wave:
