I want to plan a family vacation. But, I ant to see the Star Tours in at Disney.
From what i've been reading, both parks have it. Though the attraction at Disneyland looks like less for your money. The one at Disney World looks awsome, alot more to it. I've been reading something about Star Wars Weekends, it don't look as if they have it at the CA park. Can ya give me a little info on this Pagan? Or, Anyone who might know?
But of course Jeff!
Don't waste your time on Disneyland. If you are going to one, go to Disneyworld. I know many people who have been to both, and you can't compare the two parks. Disneyworld is IMMENSE, and has much more to offer.
As for the Star Wars Weekends, they started May 1st, and will run through the entire month of May. So far I'm leaving next Friday unless things go badly this week, so I'll catch two weekends of it.
Anything and everything that is done as DL is done on a grander scale at DW. WAY more bang for your buck.
Anything else you want to know, feel free to PM me. I have a guide to Disneyworld that I wrote up that I've given to a few Xchangers and alot of my friends so far who've all said it helped them. I'd be glad to send it to you if you end up going to Florida. ;)

For sure, I am going. My wife wanted to pick DL, only because she has family there. I don't play that, I wanna vacation! I've been doing as much research as I could and it was looking as if DW is the place to be. All I needed to see was that life size AT-AT out front and i was sold. Besides, isn't there so much else to do than just DW? Like, Seaworld, Bush Gardens Universal Studios, etc...? I'm really wanting to see this Star Tours. So i don't want to sell myself short by picking the less of them. I'm trying to put more money to an already planned trip and sub it for DW in Orlando. I would or am trying to make this happen around June 4th. I was hoping to get a Star Wars Weekend in, by using this sched i found online http://www.allearsnet.com/tp/mgm/m_startours.htm If you think i should not go by this, I'd love to try your guide!

It is true that Disneyworld has much more to offer than Disneyland does, but DL is IMO far more magical!
I have been to both parks and am going back to both (hopefully both!) again this year, they both have Star Tours.
If you have the money, I would go to WDW, but don't feel like DL won't have what you are looking for. Walt built the place and it has his touch all over it, it is far more intimate and the Magic Kingdom at WDW isn't the same at DL, it is a park truely worth a visit!
I know you will have a blast at which ever park you decide to go to, it is Disney so you will love it!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v125/wendlle/goofy_bounce.gif

Alan's guide is VERY helpful, I used it when I went to WDW last month. He has everything broken down so you know what to see and what to avoid. I have been to DL a few years back and I actually had more fun there but I think it was because it wasn't as busy (I went in Feb vs April) but both parks are awesome!
