1.Jennifer Love Hewitt-Act,sing She would have defintely been popular back then.I could see her in any of the brat pack movies and a teen idol.She could have had Ally or molly's part in the breakfast club.Or films like sixteen candles or howard the duck.(LOL)Her only problem might have been the fact that she was somewhat younger than them when she started.But then again.....
2.Faith Hill-I'm not saying that there wasn't any attractive country singers back then but faith's beauty would have really gotten her over and of course her talent.She and tim would have been called the next george and tammy.I'm suprised that hasn't happened now.
3.BSB/N'sync-NKOTB would have had competiton
4.Kelly Ripa-Had they made her a co host on dance party,she'd at least have boosted ratings.
5.Shaq-He wouldn't have topped jordan but no 23 would have had to share the spotlight.

I think all the WB stars would have been big. Maybe only on Fox though since the WB was not around. Stars like Barry Watson from 7th Heaven and Sarah Michelle Gellar and the Charmed Girls...

Alot of people will say I'm nuts for saying this, but I think Christina Aguilera would have been big in the 80's. I know, I know... she one of those teenie-bopper types. But of all of the t-b's of today (we had ours too, remember?), she is by far the most talented. Her voice is just incredible; even though much of her music isn't really up my alley, I love listening to her just to hear her voice! Some may think of her as just another talent-bimbo (ala Brittney), but I look for Christina to become the Whitney/Maria of the '00's. I agree with you nolan somewhat on christina.I've always felt that even after the teen idol craze wears off she'd still have a career.I used to think britney would have no chance but i think she's improving.

I also have to add Gwen Stefani to this one. I think there are a few stars out right now that would have been big in the 80s!

You're sooo right about Gwen Stefani, Lisa. I think she could have been HUGE in the 80s. She's very obviously influenced by the 80s in her personal style and choice of music!!! :)

Heath Ledger. I think he would have been great in the eighties. I know that some of you will tell me that there was a lot of pretty boys in the eighties, but will you take a look at him? :D :)
