We all have a lot of 80's video games that we absolutely love/loved. The 80's also saw the birth of video game characters who returned in different games. Most of them are still around today. Who is/was your favourite character from back then?
I personally loved Donkey Kong. His battles with Mario through different games always fascinated me as a kid. I still love the Donkey Kong games for N64.

I'm assuming you meant to say 'Link' as the character in the Zelda series and not Zelda herself, so I'll go with this one. Wonder Boy aside (not even sure I remember that one), I loved all on that list, but nothing comes close to the Zelda series for me :D

Guess I'll have to go with Mario. Didn't really get into the Zelda games until the 90's.

Zelda has been since beginning the only semi-RPG game to be so easy to play. I like it whan it's easy !

There were also cartoons for Zelda, Mega Man, Pole Position, Double Dragon, Super Mario Bros, & Donkey Kong

Gonna have to go with Mario.. although Luigi wasn't so bad himself.. skinny bugger!! I didn't like Zelda back then as much as I do now..(Nin 64) but I still used to play a lot.. even back then.
