First off, posting the same exact message in more than one forum is spamming. I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose, but it was spamming non-the-less. In the future, please refrain from duplicate posts.

Second, this forum is EXTREMELY welcoming to new members. Take a look at the "introduce yourself" forum and see for yourself! Or, just ask another member.

Third, this site gets little traffic? Those 10,650+ posts tell me otherwise.

Yeah, it's okay Pink Narcissus. We DO have a rule to only post messages once per forum - but since you're new you don't know that.. We've got plenty of traffic coming through here, though. We go through some dry spells but it's normally pretty active. Otherwise, the MODS and ADMINS here watch for spam and since we haven't seen you in a few days, the same message posted 8 times without a return usually brings up a Red Flag...

As far as the popularity of this site goes, the majority of the (few) posts that have appeared in the music section since I first came here have been from the admins.

Roemello was only doing what an adminstrator does. Posting the same message 8 times (on the same website) is considered 'spamming' on the internet. Besides that fact, it's difficult to get a conversation going when the subject is in so many different places. There would be different people replying to the topic in different places. This would force an interested person to check all 8 threads for responses by everyone. Then, this person would need to reply in all 8 places. It's just a common courtesy to post a message once. I'm glad you came here and posted that message - nobody else knew about Sique Sique Sputnick's latest happenings and I've never even heard of them. I hope you choose to stick around because we do have a very nice crowd here. Roemello is a good guy and well-liked by everyone. If you hang around a little and get to know him and everyone else, you'd be glad you did...

Wow.. Pink... I hope you don't take it the wrong way when everyone gets tired of seeing the same post everywhere... It certainly got the message across by posting in 8 forums, but negatively... Frequent visitors check all forums that have recent activity... so your posts will get seen even if posted in one forum, and more positively, I might add. (It IS spamming, no matter what you think)...
I am not a moderator and I frequent the boards daily.. sometimes twice a day around my work schedule.. so you see, we get quite a bit of traffic around here, and not just moderators.

Well, as I was the one who screamed "spammer" from the start and stated that it pissed me off, then I suppose that Pink's negativity is directed at me. That is fine. I stand by my feelings. Spammers DO piss me off. BUT, as you have returned, that makes you a "spammer" no more. Just a visitor who happened to spam. So, my apologies. I run an EZBoard and I get people that will only come to my board ONCE, just to post something a million times, and then they never return. It is that that makes my teeth itch. As I had never seen you before, and you had not returned, I assumed you were one of them and yes, I was annoyed.

Again, my apologies.

Oh, and just an FYI. Roem is cool as hell and this board DOES have alot of action. Although many, like myself, cannot post as often as we would like. It has nothing to do with lack of friendliness, it has to do with time restraints. Everyone here is as friendly as all get out, and that is what makes this board tick..
