I WAS having a fantastic week! I shouldn't have posted my GOOD WEEK thread!

Got the kids to school then did a few things around the house this morning after I had my coffee and computer time. Decided to take some stuff up to the attic. I was only going to be a minute and didn't want to move the table out of the way to pull down the steps all the way. (Our attic is one where you pull down the door and then we have folding steps)

Got up there and decided to look around a little bit since I hadn't been up there for a while. Heard this weird noise...OMG! The door shut. I didn't know what to do! Felt just like Chevy Chase in CHRISTMAS VACATION!! :lol:

I jumped up and down on the door and finally was able to push it down a little bit and wedge my foot through a little crack. My leg is scraped up but I managed to wedge my self out of an opening.

Didn't know what to think...neighbors arn't exactly out in their yards in the winter. Had a cordless phone, but it was directly below the door on the wall, Nobody was expected home for hours! House was all locked up so no one could have gotten in anyway!

It was cold up there..must have been up there for at least an hour! Had to soak in a warm tub for a while after I made my "escape"..LOL!!

If you didn't get on the xchange for a month or so, we'd have eventually come and looked for ya. :yesnod: :lol:

:lol: My week is still good though, because I'm still getting rid of that annoying workmate. :p

:lol: Too funny Bookmistress...the entire time I was thinking about how long it would be before anyone even realized that something might have been the matter. This was early this morning. Kids were going to be in school all day and Joe worked until 6 pm tonight. My neighbors across the road are in Florida until May.


YAY Recker! Glad that you are even-ing things up for us by getting rid of her :) (tried tying that better but kept coming up evening...like night time :lol: )

Didn't mention the other part of my day...I had a funeral to attend at 1 pm, the cat got sick on my pants outfit I was going to wear. After everything that happened, I drove into town getting to the service at 12:15--WHEW..PLENTY OF TIME. Everyone was still outside talking. Then I saw some leaving???-DUH! I missed it! It was at 11 am!! :lol:

Thank goodness it's almost the weekend...huh? Thanks again everyone...let's hope the "luck of the Irish" decides to pay a visit a month early. :)
