whistledog 2-02-05, 10:03 PM What is your favourite song by Limahl?
look for the Kajagoogoo poll also
I like all of Limahl's solo stuff.. but I went with 'Never Ending Story'. A great song from a great movie :thumb:
Roemello 2-03-05, 12:56 AM Haven't heard too much of his stuff, but I've always liked 'Never Ending Story', so it gets the dupe
"Never ending story" - great song for a great movie :thumb:
I saw him live about eight years ago, in a nightclub in Watford. He is about 6 inches tall but he had his wig on and looked exactly the same. He had a friend with him who he said was in a band called 'Groove Armarda'. Don't know what happened to them. :mwaha:

Never really took to his solo stuff, always preferred his work with Kajagoogoo but I do like Never Ending Story so that got my vote!!:thumb:
Tanya1976 2-03-05, 02:20 PM I only know of Neverending Story, which is good enough for me. I would rewind/fast forward my beta copy of it just to hear the song.
Never Ending Story. His only solo number I've ever heard. :thumb:
Just finished downloading Limahl's album, Colour my days and I have to say it is pretty cool. The song I like the most of this album is.Tonight will be the night.

willowbythesea 3-18-06, 08:26 PM omi . . . whose idea was this?! I was a massive fan in the eighties, until he dropped out of sight. That brings back memories. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There's a name I'd never thought I'd see on the eighties board.:bouncy:
Gazza, I saw him live in London at the Roadhouse. Really good concert. 'Groove Armada' sounds really familiar. Will have to google them, as I can't remember where they're from or what they do.
Walvis, loved that album and the song. Am singing it now.
Poindexter, I do remember 'Inside to outside'. Great song.
Wow, didn't know there were that many Limahl fans here:D

80sTrivia 3-19-06, 10:49 AM I really loved the movie and theme song to Never Ending Story, so it receives my vote as well, although I do like "Only for Love" as well. :thumb:
considering I only know 2 of his songs, I chose 'neverending story'
great song!
BlitzKid 7-23-06, 08:16 AM I voted for Love in your eyes. There was a time when i thought the title was "loving your eyes" :)

i was thinking the same thing. that was the second single off of his dismal second album, but somehow it was the catchiest. i voted for OFL though!
