What's your favorite song?

I am a BIG Erasure fan. I love their new song 'Breathe' but my fave from them will always be 'I Love Saturday'

Oh yes..I love them. My current fav song is "Here I Go (Impossible Again)" from the new CD.

I love Erasure too (really loved them when I was in my early 20s). My favorite Erasure song is "Always".

While not a big fan, they weren't bad for their genre'.

I really don't know their albums that well, but songs like "Victim Of Love", "A Little Respect", "Love to Hate You", "Sometimes" and "Oh L'Amour" are fine songs :)

I dig Erasure. "Drama" is probably my favorite tune by them. :)

Vince Clarke was a hit machine for The Deps, Yazoo, Erasure, Assembly, everyone! A fantastic song writer. I like 'Who Needs Love Like That?'. :thumb:

I'm more a fan of Vince Clarkes music than I am of Andy Bells singing, though I did collect their music for quite a while and have around 40 - 50 releases by them. Favourites include Oh'lamour, Blue Savannah and Sometimes with the quirkiest one being 'Dodo' of the I love Saturday CD5".

I like practically everything they have put out. They also put on a great live show. When I first heard about them in 1987, I had the chance to see them live at a small club and didn't do it. Man, I've kicked myself many times for not going and seeing them at a small venue. I did see them at a club back in 1990 or 1991 but they didn't sing. They Djed for a couple of songs, then they signed autographs for the crowd.

U heard right. Erasure was the 4th band by Vince Clarke, an original founding member of Depeche Mode :)

Technically Erasure are the 5th group that Vince Clarke has been involved in if you include 'One Day' that was a collaboration with Paul Quinn.

Oh yeah, the Paul Quinn single. Forgot about that. On the DVD of 'The Very Best of Erasure', there's an interview where Andy Bell talks about how that song scared him, because if it had of become a hit, Quinn would probably have become the voice of Erasure

I have always really liked Erasure's music. I am really excited for their upcoming tour. My favorite songs were "Sometimes" and "My Heart So Blue"

I love Erasure... They had so many fantastic songs... I still buy their albums. One of my all time favorites songs is the 'Always' song. Such a sweet song. :thumb:

Didn't Vince Clark also have a hand in the band Fortran 5? Or am I thinking of something else. I could have sworn...

Like Erasure , collected them for many years. Still have my signed copies of Wild! and The Innocents,I also had Wonderland signed but it has disappeared over time. I started moving away from them sometime ago and have recently reintroduced myself to them again. Great songs and Cds! Seen them live about 5 times including the small club venue.

:8offtopic -- Have any of you heard the band Blue October. They are a current synthpop band that I just heard recently. Very similar to Erasure's sound.

I have watched several bands and names live on stage like Depeche Mode, Alphaville, Human League, Camouflage, Devision, Anne Clark, Karl Bartos (kraftwerk member) . they were all unforgattable and precious moments...

unfortunately, I'll never be able to watch Erasure live, because I don't think they will come to Turkey for a stage performance. Due to the economical conditions, organisers and sponsors don't attend to bring them here.

but I'll keep on listening to Erasure. Andy & Vince are indispensible to my life. I recharge my batteries with their music...

It's got a bit of live stuff on it. It's even got their debut performance on the legendary UK live showcase 'Top of the Pops' :bouncy:

I'm a casual fan (if that counts). I love "Chains of Love" and "A Little Respect". They have a new dvd. Maybe I'll check it out!

in 1993 I baught a VHS in which one of Erasure's live performances was recorded. The name of the show was "The Swan, The Tank and The Balloon" which was recorded in 1992 at Manchester.
I still enjoy watching that show and everytime I watch it I feel myself as if I am watching it for the first time.

The list goes on and on. Recently bought their Greatest Hits collection on CD (I had on cassette for years)! :thumb:
