hola

anyone here really deep into 80s minimal electronics ?

Bands like Guerre Froide, League Of Nations, Andy Oppenheimer, Christof Glowalla, Genocide, Circuit 7, ZSKA, Jeff and Jane Hudson, Dark Day, Nine Circles, ... are common names for you ?

Then please send a PM or post here, I'm always searching for contacts to trade and discuss the electronic music that stayed far away from clubs, radio and major labels.

None of those ring any bells with me  :(

Are we talking like John Foxx Circa the Metamatic LP? Certainly at the time it was electronic, stark and really rather scary minimalistic stuff!

kind of, but a lot more minimalistic, imagine early John Foxx team up with The Residents and Kraftwerk...

None of them ring a bell, but it sounds interesting. Perhaps you could enlighten us a little about these bands?

The only band that rings a bell is Kraftwerk. Great german band. Music like the Model and Autobahn is wonderfull. An other great german electronic band is U 96, the song Das Boot is also great.

U-96 Das Boot, i know of a dance version, its the theme to the film/mini-series/masterpeice Das Boot (The Boat) About a WW2 u-boat and crew on a mission.

Very good stuff should you ever get to see the mini-series.
