I was originally planning to head back to Cin city this evening, but gave up that plan after hearing all the stories of people stuck in Indiana and Illinois. It will be my first Christmas away from family since 1990 when I was overseas in the USMC. No big deal, since the weather is supposed to warm up next week.

Yeah, I was watching some of Cincinnati's news this morning, they got it pretty bad too. I have a friend in Cincy, but haven't talked to him for awhile.

My husband and I aren't making it home for Christmas either, his family is from Pittsburgh, and mine is near Wheeling, WV. I guess that's what they make telephones for.

I think maybe I'll just start hibernating now. Wake me up for the spring thaw. lol

Luckily for me, my family lives a bit close to where I live. Then again, we did not get any snow this past week. Another year of me not having a white christmas.
